It's like working on a motorcycle engine, small enough and light enough to pick up and put it on the kitchen table, and really piss off the other half! 😁

BTW, when measuring the bore with parallel jaw verniers, be careful of the top lip giving you a low reading.

That blocked oilway reminded me of what someone told me years ago, if you use instant gasket, use as little as possible, if it oozes out, it's oozing in, instant blocked oilways

I've been watching you for years, and I am convinced you are an alien. Synthesizers, music performance, electronics, MIDI, pipe organs, museums, vintage telephone technology, cars, engines, welding, milling, and YouTube production. No human could do all those things, unless maybe you are three hundred years old and just look younger.

What a lovely,simple little engine ! Reminds me of when I owned Renaults and Morris Minors in my youth back in the 1970's. So easy to work on compared with modern monstrosities !

Very good plan. Keeping the blue one as standard is a honorable thing to do. There’s a lot of messed with seven engines out there, just think of all the places in the world that they were made under license. I am however looking forward to seeing your take on modifications. I have seen people throwing a lot of money at them and yet the people with a shoestring out performing them. Thank you for sharing 😊
