My friends wife was built like a Gazelle and ran a lot, both outside and on her treadmill. She had an ashtray on her treadmill and it was surreal seeing her pounding out the miles at a good pace while smoking cigarettes.
To each their own, I guess.

The ignition thing is real! I grew up a chubby kid, played outside all day, worked on my grandparents' ranch and no matter what, I couldn't lose weight. Then I saw Butterbean for the first time. Within a week, I convinced my mom to sign me up at a boxing gym. Turns out I got lunchboxes for hands. A few years later, I watched Mark Hunt fight in Pride FC on an old DVD my cousin showed me. I switched to kickboxing and it's been about 20 years now. Soon, I'll be a coach at the gym where it all started and I couldn't be happier to inspire the next generation like I was.

I noticed he likes the vertical fist. Smart. Its quicker, more solid to the elbow, and its not so telecasted because you dont need to raise the shoulders.
