but it looks amazing and I'm a little jealous

Well done, sir! Looks fantastic! The taller your chimney, and if you reduce the size a bit, 6”-8”, the faster the exhaust will go and the more air it will pull. I was also thinking you could do some hinged panels to close off the sides and front when not in use, it will help direct air flow where you need it instead of trying to pull from the entire front. Great job- looks fantastic! When you get everything situated, you might consider having the power hammer directly on one side of the forge, anvil on the other side to reduce heat loss when you’re pounding.

Good Job!

Looks great, I have been wanting to make a forge. I love the look of the big hoods, so nostalgic.

dude be really careful cuz I see you using multiple pieces of galvanized piping which when heated hot enough will give off a toxic gas that can kill you

I've not long restored a  a belt drive, lever operated forge and rivetted the new frame together. I countersunk the rivet holes on the inside of the pan and peened the 1/4" rivets into the countersinks. Subbed.

You’re just short off  NOZ with that turbo
Good video dude

Nice work. Love the power hammer too!

good stuff. looks great

Put the rivet head on the inside and peen the outside with a header tool.

Nice job. I like the look of rivets too.

Looks good mate, enjoy the vids you make keep up the good work

I like the riveted look. I was thinking about doing something similar when I move my forge into my new shop. I’m going to try to come up with something that also exhausts the heat from my propane forge too though, so it may be tricky. Just a little tip for your fire pot: I put exhaust header insulation tape under the flanges to slow down the thermal transfer to the table top area of the forge. It really cut down on the heat from long forging sessions.

so like if it's far away from the hot heat it's fine but like that little piece you're using that the underneath where the clinker thing is and everything I mean that's going to get hot and the gases could could harm you

I think you could use a few more things on the side of your shed. I don't think you have enough things in your way 😂.

What is the necessity of the hood?

All four Elemts are controlling a Forge. You missed Water. And keep your Coal seperated. To maintain a good Fire is an Art of itself.
