Not only does this family have a survival advantage with John Krasinski’s character being able to work on radios and electronics, but they were able to have instant and effective communication since they already knew sign language because of the daughter.

I love that John insisted on having the daughter have a real hearing disability. He fought for her rather than an actress who pretended to be deaf.

"You can be stepping on all sorts." Me knowing what's coming late in the movie: 😬

Every single time John Krasinski signs “I love you, I have always loved you” then SCREAMS, breaks me down into to the most agonizing and emotional cry.

I believe that most if not all loving parents would make the same choice as that’s how strong that love, that bond is between parent and child.

It seemed to me that the reason it was so important for the son to go learn was because the daughter was already a survivor.
She had the toughness and confidence that their son did not have but needed.

I remember seeing this in theaters with my husband. It was so quiet in the theater we couldn't eat our snacks 😂

They were already married when John wrote the film and his wife Emily said she told him that he had to put her in the film after she read it...lol.

i think you missed when he lite the fire and the other fires in the distant showing you there are other people.

My brother is fully blind, as a joke someone recommended this movie to him, they had a great laugh about it. 😂

I snore so loudly I'd be totally screwed.

Emily and John being married in real life works so well for playing a married couple in this! Their chemistry is so natural and warm that it immerses you into the story more since they feel like a real couple because they actually are! So good! 👌🫡🥰🔥💯

6:46 "he's gonna be a problem" oh boy 😭😭

The shot of Emily stepping on the nail is pure cinema. Your reactions were priceless.

One of the most unique horror movies to come out in a while! Makes you realise how much we take for granted every day by being able to talk or listen to others talk or make any sound - even if it's shutting the door on your microwave or watching a movie! So eye opening!

These aliens are the grumpy old neighbors who hate when kids are playing outside making noise. 😅

John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were already married when this role came along. They've both joked on the Graham Norton Show how Krasinski already had the role but they had another actress in mind for the wife character. But when Emily Blunt read her husband's script she insisted on playing the wife role herself. I'm so glad they did it that way 😊 Their real life chemistry adds so much to this story. 💕

Indigenous people who had to hide from enemies have survived with newborns since the beginning of humanity! It's a cool rabbit hole to go down if you're curious the methods they used.

No one made a sound in the theater when i watched this. It was amazing

Just in case no one let you know, the big fire pit, when you go back and look, the other little lights in the distance is other people doing the same thing! They light the fires to let each other know there’s still others still alive !
