The Terminator would ride this bike if T2 were filmed today. What a monstrous beast of a machine.

Well this 63 yr old, riding since 1978, is smitten with his Storm R. Every ride is an adventure on this apex ride. Tame cruiser to wild beast in an instant at any speed and gear. Constant attention grabber from all ages, riders or not. Any mundane day becomes exciting as soon as you sit in the saddle. Great review! Thank you Triumph!

My lovely wife purchased the 2025 Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel as a gift for me and I absolutely love it. Handles like a dream and it definitely puts a smile on my face every time I take her for a spin. As for anyone wondering it feels significantly lighter and handles much better than my 1800 V-Twin. Fantastic feat of engineering. Like the previous post said, "Thank You, Triumph!"

Good review thanks, I brought a 2020 GT new and have done over 36000 trouble free kms on it. I am 6 foot and over 50 years old and am happy to do 600kms in a day, no worries. I put a competition Werks exhaust on it to save 12kgs and make it sound sweet without being too rowdy, quickshifter makes a big difference with pressing on hard (I have drag raced it and done some monster burnouts) Best thing is to de-restrict it with  a re-tune from tuneRCU, now is about 200HP but not only for more power. It makes it very smooth and linear even when not thrashing it. I live in New Zealand which is filled with twisty and challenging roads and have found it rewards you when you take it by the horns and really muscle it, dont be shy, the more you late brake and turn in hard and power out of corners it absolutely loves it!! One of my other bikes is a 2002 998s Ducati and I have a 2014 KTM 690 Duke R so im also used to very sporty bikes! I made a tail tidy which looks great, and blacked out a few elements to make it not a black and silver bike bit a black bike with some silver accents, find the storm a bit boring and it masks some of the beautiful design elements. I would say to those who say that you dont need all that power or you are trying to make up for other inadequacies, is that this bike has more than enough and will not be stressed out and will last forever. My last speedmaster (which is surely a misnomer if I ever heard one) I was thrashing all the time and wore that out.  The only time you feel the weight is taking it out of the shed and this translates to stability on the road. I couldnt recommend any bike more than this and it will be the last bike I will ever need!

Still deeply in love with my 2022 GT. Fantastic bike that has more than enough power and is superbly comfortable. Great design that still makes me look back whenever I park up and walk away from it with a huge grin on my face.

So glad Triumph made the new Rocket , i traded a 2020 Gsxr1000R for a Rocket 3r and have no regrets, the torque just makes me smile ever time i get on it .The quickshifter is ok not great compaired to the Gsxr .The handling will surpise a lot of folks as its fine concidering the weight of the bike .The Triumph engineers did a great job on this bike the quality of finish is superb  and  who ever designed the rear footpegs  deserves a pay rise .As for the extra power if you have the older model ie not a storm then a re map will give you the same if not more power than the storm .

I have the TFC model, same power output of these new Storms. Phenomenal bike. After 4 years of ownership, still love it!

G'day from Oz ( Australia )  ! ... THANKS , a Great review - covers pretty much every aspect of the R3 :) ... I'm now 69, riding non-stop since 16 yrs old and most of that in a big / busy city ( Sydney ) - but now retired and moved up the coast to a more "open area"  and with quick access to lovely country roads and lots of winding country backroads as well - in short ... a riders heaven :) I just purchased a new ( to me ) 2022 Rocket 3  GT - but with "R" pegs on it  and it is  "bike #54"  for me ....... so far. ( Note : I bought many wrecks as a young fella and rebuilt them, rode them for a year or two, then sold them and got another "wreck" - rebuilt it, etc etc ... did that for about 1/2 the bikes I've owned ).   I've owned plenty of the "muscle bikes of the day"  over the years - and then some. Owned numerous Harleys, and Indian Chiefs as well ( all bought new ), ... a second hand V-Max ( THAT was fun / scary !!! ... it went like stink, but handled like a pig ! :( .... still - GREAT for blowing off ... everyone / ANYONE ... and I RODE a friend's Rocket 3 about 15ish years ago ( one of the old Rocket 3's ) - but it didn't impress me that much at that time ( this was the same time I owned the V-Max - so the power was about the same - so, not THAT amazing a difference ) ... BUT, ... I recently rode my '17 Chief ( which has bee "sooped up somewhat" and goes pretty hard for a big bike ), down the coast to accompany a friend who was trading in his CanAm Spyder for a 2nd hand Harley - and I noticed that the dealer had the new Rocket 3's  in the showroom - and I asked if I could take one for a test ride. The salesman says "we traded a 2022 model in yesterday - you can take it for a spin"  ... LONG story, short .... HO-LEE-CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!! :O :O :O   I came back with an ear-to-ear GRIN .. and said "HOW MUCH ?" ... It was 3 years old - but only had 2700kms on the clock ( it's not run-in, yet ! ) and the price was 1/3 off the cost of a new one - so I bought it on the spot. I  still cannot get over just HOW good the Rocket 3, IS !!!  YES - it's a big / heavy bike - but, it REALLY doen't "feel heavy"  - especially once it starts rolling ... It handles VERY WELL considering it size and weight, and while not being able to flip-flop on TIGHT fast corners like a lightweight sports bike - it is "acceptable" in tight flip-flop corners ... you just have to "force it down"  a bit harder than you would a smaller / lighter bike ... BUT - where it really shines is on FAST winding roads ... and - on out & out highway ACCELERATION / overatking  etc ..... it doesn't matter what gear you're in, or what speed you're doing - just open her up and it LAUNCHES !!!  - Added to that is the brakes which are FANTASTIC, the seat which is one of THE best in the business, and overall handling which is very VERY good ! ... THIS is THE most FUN bike I've ever owned !  :) :) :)  ... ( but - I now FEAR for my driver's license .... it's just SO  MUCH  FUN - it's going to get me in trouble with the cops  !  :O )  ... BTW : By pure luck - the 2022 Rocket 3 that I just purchased is a GT - so it comes WITH a wider and better padded seat than the R model has - plus the GT seat is 25mm lower as well .... Heated grips as standard plus a backrest as standard also ( which I have now mounted the rack support bars to, and a small zip-up-carry  bag on to ( great for keys, wallet, phone a small items etc etc ) BUT - somebody before me put the R pegs on .... So you arms aren't outstretched as much to reach the handles bars / you sit more upright ( which is GREAT for my shitty back ) but the R peg position  means that my feet are directly under my butt - so if you see a pothole / bump coming that you can't avoid - you CAN stand up easily to take the shock oiff your spine - best of BOTH worlds !

Over 80,000 miles on my 2020 GT and I still get the stupid grin when I crank the throttle. I changed to the mid pegs though, a great change for me. along with the quick shifter.

great bike - puts the biggest smile on your face with all that smooth torque

I like my Rocket 3 GT. Believe all you hear. Don't compare V-Max or Hayabusa or Diavel. Don't get me wrong. Those are great bikes too. The Triumph has something I can't explain. Precision is the word I suppose.

They got the engine right! They didn't switch to the weird T Plane crankshaft that is used in the Tiger 900. You can hear the velvety smooth sound of the proper original Triumph triple engine configuration, it sounds really smooth, and not rough and rumbly.

I've been looking at cruisers lately, and the Rocket3 has my attention. I sat on one recently at a dealer in Florida, and the ergos felt right, even for an old person like me. I'm interested in comfort first for longer rides, which I can do year round here in the Sunshine State! Great video.

Your saying that triumph said that they can do better by giving it more power and torque, but it's only the same power and torque as the TFC (triumph factory custom) had from new years before, they had 180hp , so basically the storm is a tfc without the carbon fibre bits
