In June 1991, 18-year-old Kerry Turner left a nightclub in Perth and began making her way home.

At around 5am, witnesses saw Kerry get into a car on Shepperton Road in East Victoria Park.

She was never seen alive again.

Almost a month later, Kerry’s body was discovered in bushland near Canning Dam.

More than three decades later, her murder remains unsolved.

In this DarkWA episode, we trace Kerry’s final known movements, examine the unidentified vehicle at the centre of the investigation, and look at the more recent DNA breakthrough in another WA cold case that has given detectives a new avenue to examine.

No one has been convicted of Kerry Turner’s murder, and any person discussed in this video should be considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.
