Kenya has stepped up its screening for Ebola, after the country confirmed its first death from the disease. The patient was a Kenyan citizen who lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo for seven years, before travelling back to Nairobi. Authorities are now working to trace 57 people linked to the patient and transfer them all to a quarantine centre. Late last week, the DRC government reported more than 4,000 deaths in this current outbreak. Greg Ramm is the DRC country director at Save the Children and he told The World's Girish Sawlani it is possible to stop the spread of Ebola through early detection and contact tracing.
