The first thing I looked up when I saw the news.

We all know why we're here. RIP to another legend.

RIP Optimus Prime. My childhood hero.

"Above all, do not lament my absence. For in my Spark, I know that this is not the end. But merely a new beginning. Simply put, another Transformation."

Rest in peace, Peter Cullen. You will forever be our Optimus Prime

In Larry's good company now. In peace.

Rip the one who made a character strong enough to be gentle

True story: They offered him the chance to play Optimus on Robot Chicken, but he turned it down, say that he no problem making fun of himself, but he refused to make fun of Optimus Prime. He told them that having met dying kids who, for their last wish, wanted to meet Optimus Prime, he just couldn’t do it. Man I love that.

Im not crying you crying

He is Optimus and forever is Optimus

Also check where the most watched part is so peak

We all know why we’re here. But let’s remember his words, let’s all remember to be strong enough to be gentle.

God his voice is so incredible, even in his old age his Optimus was always heavy with aura. Even in Invincible last season.

"Be strong enough to be gentle"

That line Optimus Prime summed up in few words

Strong enough to be gentle… Rest in peace Peter

Peter Cullen : The voice of Optimus Prime
Larry Cullen: The soul of Optimus Prime

I never got to meet Peter, but he seemed like such a respectful and honest gentleman. May God rest his soul, and may God be near to his family.

'Til All Are One.

Rest in peace Peter, you will always be remembered for helping us in our darkest hour

I grew up with Peter Cullen when he was voicing Optimus Prime. I'm going to miss him so much.

i wont recover from this 😢 rest in peace Optimus Prime

“My name is Optimus Prime.” Chills. This man deserves all the respect

No matter how many times I've watched this I still get chills when Peter Cullen says "My name is Optimus Prime."

Rest in peace, Peter.
You made my childhood and are an icon.

We will miss you.
