I'm 71 next week, and like many other people I find Pink Floyds music brings out the emotional side of me. I have a fantastic family, 4 sons, two beautiful grandchildren (and another on the way!)and a loving wife, but Floyd bring back so many memories of my life, from when I was a teenager through to now. The memories of the sixties and seventies are so vivid at times, and watching this performance with dear Rick Wright and David working so well together, bring those memories flooding back. I find it hard to put my feelings into words, but I watched those last few minutes with tears rolling down my cheeks. Life past can make you so happy, but at the same time so sad. Sorry for being a big softy!!

A very sad ending, two old friends saying goodbye to each other, expressing their love with their music. RIP Richard Wright, you were the soul of Pink Floyd.

I'm 72, but I'll never be too old for Pink Floyd's music. They will  always be my favorite band!!!

One of Pink Floyd’s masterpieces. After listening to Pink Floyd for almost 60 years, I can say that Echos is among my favorite Pink Floyd songs. I’m 72 now, and I can say with certainty that Pink Floyd saved my life in many ways. The best band to walk the earth.

Rest in Peace, Rick. You are sorely missed. You were the quiet genius of the band, the atmospheric wizard at the keyboards. 🙏🙏

Rick Wright was to Pink Floyd what George Harrison was to the Beatles, The obscure and quiet  important member but so much underrated.

I am 93 yrs old guys and I hope to still hear all their marvellous music in heaven.  To me, David is the best guitarist that ever plucked a string.

David has refused to perform Echoes without Rick as he stated it wouldn't feel right without him. I couldn't agree more. Echoes is without a doubt Rick's ultimate masterpiece.

Yep. Been listening since 1973. I’m 85. Of all the people that are alive on the earth today that I could meet, David Guilmour, is the man I’d most treasure meeting. His music has brought me more pleasure than anyone I’ve ever known.  I’d simply say, Thank you so very much.

When the audience knows a song after 1 NOTE.....you know it's a masterpiece.

That opening B "ping" is one of the most iconic sounds in all of music.
We miss you, Rick!

It is not possible to explain what it meant to hear this way back in the seventies, growing up. This was the Quantum Physics of music

YouTube putting ads in the middle of this HAS TO BE punishable by death by a thousand cuts

Some people claims "Echoes" is Floyds best work. And I can absolutely see where they're coming from. It is a true timeless masterpiece. And WHAT an incredible performance this was. RIP Rick. You were the salt of the band.

Anyone listening in 2025?

The year was 1983. I was in college. Got hold of this album on cassette for my Walkman. Was a warm summer night. Took my sleeping bag up on the terrace. The sky was blazing with millions of stars. Lay down, stared up in space, hit the play button and became one with the cosmos. I remember it so well, after almost 40 years.

I was climbing Mount Denali in Alaska 12 years ago, wearing my headphones and my iPod. I played this song while looking at the stars, with my legs and arms deeply numb, but I made it, and it was magnificent. It felt like a call to our ancestors and became part of my journey to the summit.

Roger was the brain of the band
David was the skill of the band
Rick was the atmosphere of the band
Nick was the pulse of the band

Gilmour said: "It would be lovely to play Echoes here, but I wouldn't do that without Rick. There's something that's specifically so individual about the way that Rick and I play in that, that you can't get someone to learn it and do it just like that. That's not what music's about."

Seems fair

The only band to ever reach musical perfection. I can’t imagine my life without Pink Floyd.

Now...That's what we had the good fortune to see and listen back in the 70's.....Pure strawberry cakes from England !!! --Pink floyd--Genesis---Led Zeppelin---ELP---ELO---The Beatles----Jetrho Tull---Gentle Giant---YES---Supertramp---and more!  Man i was  so  lucky to see theses bands live it the Montréal Forum....They drove me to the moon .....Pierre a 67 YO music lover....
