I'll take a potato chip and EAT IT

the kid who stayed 6 years' parents paid 3.268  MILLION dollars

My 4-5 year old cat came bolting into my room as soon as I putted Kenji on the tv-

9:15 unfortunately yes. they use tranquilizers on kids in a lot of facilities. for example, i was once put in a mental hospital. i was only 14, and watched a girl get tranquilized for crying too hard

Parents indeed don’t wanna parent either stick a tablet in front of their kid or legally send them away cause the cute baby phase is over

I searched it up and apparently they shut down August 16 2026😭

Edit: it says on the website “Provo Canyon School is no longer providing behavioral healthcare services as of August 16, 2026. We are hopeful to begin resuming the provision of services in the near future.”

Getting solitary for stealing a bag of chips?! Id be in solitary for a long time back to back then. These poor kids genuinely need help for their own safety.

this is actually so fucking scary i feel so bad for the kids, im so glad this place got its licenses revocked.

perfect timing for dinner

Unfortunately, most "troubled teen" facilities are having people sent there because the parents disagree with the kids or want the kids to obey. Its not parenting, its abuse.

FYI, psychologists have also proved that corporal pinishment should be classified as abuse.

This is why we need WAY better teen facilities with moms and dads as helpers and teachers with a nice environment were they can feel safe.

As an adult that was put in multiple of these type of facilities when I was a child (including one that has recently been SHUT DOWN due to lawsuits) — I would’ve rather gone to juvie. These facilities are very rarely the answer to the children’s real issues. In fact, many of them do things to cause your “care team” deem it necessary to keep you there even longer. Once you are in the system, you’re in the system. That’s why so many children that have been in one facility, have been in multiple others. I was literally gaslighted into believing that I was a terrible delinquent child and I was stuck in this cycle until I turned 18 and aged out. I’m so thankful that it’s finally being seen how corrupt these places are, but I’m so angry that it’s taken so long and so much. I’ve seen other kids literally pass away in these facilities due to medical neglect among other reasons. If parents actually listened to their children, this wouldn’t have had to happen to get us here.

1:01:21 what's crazy about this is if other kids excaped they genuinely could be out there anywhere and no one would know or care

I imagine those parents sending their kids there, they're probably going at their kids like "I wasted money on you" when it was their choice and saw no progress. And they would still be blamed. That's just horrible

ooouuu i cant wait to watch this tomorrow when im doing my makeup for work

The high school is closed as of aug 16th 2026, because of a few factors • Utah department of health and human services found overwhelming evidence.
• The disability law center of utah
• Paris Hilton and youth advocate survivors
• and lastly independent undercover investigators, reckless ben. Exposing the facility.!
Unfortunately the company is actively trying to bring the school back, fighting the states decision.

This is genuinely so scary, like it's just an excused to abused kids

I take a Potato chip AND EAT IT!!

i take a potato chip and.. EAT IT

7:45 THAT is honestly a good thought. Specially the making them do sports, other than discipline they'll be able to find something to put their time through instead.
