ELDER ANDERSEN JUST REVEALED WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR HEART BECOMES COMPLETELY CONSECRATED TO CHRIST… 🔥🕊️

Elder Neil L. Andersen just delivered a remarkable message at BYU about becoming completely “settled” in Jesus Christ.

But the most powerful part of his message came near the end.

After discussing doubt, deception, unanswered questions, reason, revelation, and the overwhelming information of our modern world, Elder Andersen asked a completely different question:

What happens AFTER we settle this in our hearts?

His answer was extraordinary.

He described a disciple willingly saying to Heavenly Father:

“I am Thine. Totally, completely, without reservation or condition.”

And then Elder Andersen gave this remarkable teaching:

“This is the spirit of consecration.”

He said that when a heart willingly and completely turns what he called “the key of consecration,” something changes:

🔥 “The door of real freedom and spiritual power is opened.”

He then described what begins to happen to that disciple.

Greater vision of our purpose on earth.

A greater ability to feel and to know.

An increased abundance of spiritual gifts.

Temptations that once seemed attractive begin losing their power.

The mocking voices of the great and spacious building begin fading away.

And—perhaps especially important for our time—the distractions and deceptions of the adversary become easier to recognize and dismiss.

That may be the central message of Elder Andersen's entire devotional.

Because earlier in the talk, he warned that we live in a world overflowing with information, misinformation, social media, opinions, podcasts, and what he called “artificial information overload.” 📱🌎

He also repeated President Dallin H. Oaks's striking warning that the adversary has become so effective at disguising truth that without the Holy Ghost, we will be deceived.

So how do we survive that kind of world?

Elder Andersen's answer isn't merely: Get more information.

It is:

Become more consecrated.

Become more capable of recognizing the voice of God.

Become more dependent upon the Holy Ghost.

Become so firmly centered in Jesus Christ that the competing voices of the world begin losing their influence.

And that helps explain another provocative part of his talk.

Elder Andersen says:

“Reason has the first word. Revelation has the last word.”

He acknowledges difficult questions about Church history, methods of translation, and past policies—and says some questions may need to rest patiently in a box labeled:

📦 “ANSWERS FORTHCOMING.”

That doesn't mean we stop investigating.

The gospel, he teaches, actually requires both reason and revelation.

But it does mean that unanswered questions don't have to stop our spiritual progression.

We don't need omniscience before we can exercise faith.

And perhaps we need discernment about what deserves to burden our metaphorical “shelf” in the first place.

Some questions deserve continued study.

Some things really are unanswered.

But other claims are simply false, misleading, stripped of context, or not worthy of carrying around indefinitely.

Elder Andersen's larger invitation is not intellectual complacency.

It is spiritual anchoring.

And ultimately, that anchoring leads somewhere much bigger than merely surviving questions.

It leads to consecration.

To being able to say:

“I am Thine.”

Not because we have been compelled.

Not merely because God commanded it.

But, as Elder Andersen says, because:

“I want to.”

That is where agency becomes consecration.

And Elder Andersen teaches that when this happens, the result is not less freedom—

but greater freedom and greater spiritual power.

That is the part of this message I think we need to pay very close attention to. 👀

Could Elder Andersen be describing how the Lord is preparing a people capable of surviving the deception and spiritual confusion of the latter days?

A Zion people whose hearts are not merely informed about Jesus Christ—

but completely His?

Watch to the end, because Elder Andersen's final testimony as a special witness of Jesus Christ brings the entire message together.

“He lives.”
