I will follow this cleaning method.   Bought my Honda new.  Now only has 6 hours in it.  And it only runs on choke. First 6 hours were flawless.  Just sat for 3 months.   My lawnmower sits longer without starting and has no issues!

It's a good thing that you realize that you didn't have the fuel line in after you put the airbox. Otherwise you would have had a tremendous leak good job.

Excellent video. Than you!!

I was given a barely used EU2200i partly because it “ran when parked” but prior owner couldn’t get it to run or even fire. Main jet was completely blocked. Runs great now!

Thanks.  Fixed my issue...  mine wasnt even noticeably dirty...   i only started having issues when started using fuel stabilizer.    I noticed this in other engines as well... thought that stuff was meant to prevent issues...

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions!

I have a 3 year old EU2200i that was brand new in the box, never used, and wouldnt start.  Gas tank full with new gas, oil level good, air filters clean, spark plug correctly gapped.  I followed your instructions and found that the main jet was completely clogged.  After cleaning and reassembling, it started right up on the third pull.  Thanks for saving me a couple hundred dollars!

ps I noticed you forgot to reattach the fuel line and had to re-do the air filter housing ;p

THANK YOU ... for the CLOSE UP of the nozzle (emulsion tube) correct position when  reinserted into the carb. Few other tutorials are clear on that.
Mine,  after cleaning, is STUCK - I may have reinserted it backwards...     I'm going to try a (recommended on another YT vid) "Eze Out" screw extractor. I may have to buy a new nozzle ($18) - and hopefully not a complete carb replacement $150.

Just bought a new-in-box EU2200 which had been in storage 6 years; this is the model without a CO-minder or bluetooth, which is what I wanted.  Long story short, and not surprisingly, it would not start.  I'm guessing some residual fuel from the factory test run was left in it.  I used your carb cleaning techniques and it fired right up afterwards...sure appreciate your video.

Outstanding video. I fixed my generator with this advice thank you. My carb was so clogged I cleaned both jets thanks to your instruction

Hey thanks from Alaska. This vid got me up and running again.

Thank for your walkthrough. Cleaned a few carbs before on gas trimmers and mowers but was not familiar with this model. Made the job easier!

Great video! Appreciate the time you took, hadn't ran mine in a couple years and it literally fired right up after I followed your very detailed steps!

Thanks for posting this.

Excellent video!! I've watched several covering this issue and yours is the best.

Your video saved my LIFE.

Thanks for the video. I followed it step by step and everything is working fine now

Thanks for getting right to the point, Best video ever . Houston and I thank you
