Read that book years ago when I was a Grade 1 operator brand new to the field. 7 years later as a Grade 4 operator and now recently promoted to Backup ORC I still consult that book to this day. So much useful information condensed into one place. I was recommended this book by a fellow operator (he was a state auditor and had a laundry list of certifications) in the Grade 1 class. I still talk to him every so often.

I purchase this book off of AMAZON recently and I'm studying to take the Grade 6 Wastewater exame. I'm from Massachusetts and I'm finding this book a great learning tool. Thank you for all your videos.

Yes , bought this book a while back and it's full of good information. Good break down and answers alot of the most common process problems. Just wish it had colored pictures.

I was having a terrible time with some of math problems before taking my Op 1 exam I found that 'Lumpy Water Math' by Jerry Grant was really beneficial and I keep with my everyday library thanks for the book recommendation going to add it to my library

We use Doug Hill's study materials here in SW MI to train our incoming operators. The Sacramento State Wastewater Manuals I-III are a great resource as well.

Yeah great book. I'm bugged down on the calculation of the return sludge flow using concentrations on page 84.
Otherwise an easy read I think even though my english is so so. But it's old. So old. Older than that the book would have been written in latin.
