Stuff is growing in my coffee maker's water tank, my sink looks awful, and there is dog hair everywhere... It's time to tackle neglected areas!! 💪🏼

Along with those neglected areas, we are tackling my ever-growing to-do list and giving the main living areas of our little home a much needed deep clean and reset! 🧼

In today’s clean and home reset, we are:

• Deep cleaning the kitchen
• Tackling areas of visual clutter
• Deep cleaning my coffee maker 😬
• Deep cleaning my kitchen sink
• Decluttering and putting things back where they belong
• Resetting our living spaces
• Adding in a few small fall touches
• Creating a cozy cottage feel in a small home
• Checking off some of those little household projects that are so easy to put off

Even though my project to-do list is still long, each and every project and task we complete whether it's big or small, is getting us closer to a calm and cozy space!

We have found functional and practical homes for so many things, and it has made such a difference in how our home looks and feels. What started as a desire to eliminate some of the visual noise has turned into a much bigger transformation, and we are just getting started!

This was worth the watch for the idea to put crib sheets over the dog beds!! Mind blown! I actually got rid of our donut beds as they were so awful to clean/wash/dry.

I'm a mother and I also have animals and plants. Our house stays dirty but never messy. We always try to clean the bathrooms on the weekend or at least once a week. We wash and change all the sheets on Saturday or Sunday. We iron the laundry twice a week and I wash dirty clothes every day so they don't pile up. Our routine isn't easy and we sleep very little. I dust the house gradually, but when I do, I go from room to room and focus on everything: every corner. This way we keep the house dust-free. I used to wash the floor every day, but with work, the bigger house, and my health problems... I can't do more than once a week.

Good video for body doubling. Thanks! We have the Bissel PowerClean DualBrush vac that you showed. $199 in July. Love it! At first it seemed a little heavy, but the extra weight makes sense given how well it cleans. Plus, no more hair wrapped around the brush and it stands on its own -- total win. Some reviewers have commented on the small dirt cup and battery life. The cup is smaller, but we prefer to empty after each use. We've had one clog in the tube, which was relatively easy to clean out. The battery life has been sufficient for us at up to 20 minutes per use. Too soon to determine the lifespan of the battery. The features make vacuuming more enjoyable/less of a hassle, so we tend to do it more often.

This, for me, was your BEST video ever!!! You should look into a sponsorship for a cordless vacuum-you would probably get one or more interested especially for the dog hair models !! You deserve it!!! The sink - holy moly (the cords - amazing)!

Thank you for the inspiration, I really need it! Here's a tip for your sink as that was way too much soft scrub. Use just a good squirt, 1 TBSP or so and rub it all over the wet sink with your glove and let it sit 5 min or so, scrub, rinse and repeat if needed. If you start doing it every 1-2 weeks you won't hardly need any at all. I used to clean a sink like that and the bottle of soft scrub would last quite a long time. Now I'm off to work on my own clutter! 😄

Hi Brandy. I use citric acid to clean my electric kettle. Two tablespoons of citric acid in a full pitcher of water, run it through, and it cleans out all the limescale like it's brand new. It kills all mold. Then two cycles of clean water to flush it out and I swear it comes out like brand new. So much easier than toothbrushes.

I have a white enamel cast-iron kitchen sink that is almost 30 years old, and I use powdered Bar Keepers Friend and a scrub mommy to clean it. It still looks like new.

Next time you purchase a bouquet like that, just fold the bottom up into the center of the stems. It makes the bouquet fuller and they stand up better in the vase. Also, this way you can still use them later in a taller vase.
