This lecture is the twelfth part of our "Bronze Age Collapse" series and fifth part of our "Samson Mysteries" mini-series. We are exploring a historical city founded by Mopsus and an ancient synagogue there with amazing mosaics dated to 4th/5th CE. This is a place of many names. The region is the Adana province in modern Turkey, also known as Cilicia in Anatolia. The city, called Mopsuestia in antiquity, has also been known as Mopus and Misis, but today is Yakapınar. The synagogue became a church but now is in ruins. Why is it known as Samson's synagogue? You'll have to watch the video to find out! This lecture is more of an archaeological excavation, so it's time to start digging!
