Dude looks like a big gothic barbarian badass but talks like a typical 80s super friendly suburban middle aged goofy dad.

I love when punk musicians turn out to have really goofy ass personalities

"Black flag stayed at my house, my mom made lasagne for everyone."  Love it.

This is great, Nardwuar had a 3 in 1 interview here. The Misfits, Black Flag & Ramones in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, North America, Earth.

Much respect they were all very cool to Nardwuar.  Always bumps people up a level of likability in my book

Jerry Only is a genuinely very kind guy. I saw this lineup of Misfits when I was maybe 11 years old. I wound up getting tickets from an uncle and my father had no idea who they were or anything and took me. They played an incredible show probably like 50 punk songs they ripped through. He saw me on my fathers shoulders throwing devil horns the whole show so when they were signing autographs at the end he was all like "bring that kid to the front. Can you believe we have such young and passionate fans yadda yadda" then this guy takes me and my father backstage shows us the bus makes sure I meet and get markys autograph because he didn't do the signing just jerry and dez did the signing. I love the guy so much and just the misfits period. Jerry literally gave me and my father such a great night just doing those few little things. I'll remember that day with my dad til I die and I will always view Jerry as a stand up guy. Meant the absolute world to me as a child.

Marky Ramone appeared like a shiny pokemon! Wasn't expect all these legends

9:15 the cameraman changing the angle to make him look even bigger as he talks about being bigger than the hockey players is brilliant.

Seeing jerry only grin like an idiot and joking about,  despite being built like a steel plated brick shithouse, just made my day.

Always surprises me these old guys know what year everything happened, I’m 33 - I couldn’t tell you what year I saw the misfits, or started work, or met my wife - these old guys be like in 83 I ate a really nice chicken dinner.

The fact that Joey Ramone was about to be the lead singer of this formation... My god what a supergroup would we have

Man I would have killed to hear Joey Ramone sing Misfits songs. That would have sounded amazing.

Marky looking like Nardwar’s rebellious cool older brother lol

I love Jerry dying of laughter after every Marky answer. You can just tell Jerry loves Marky to death.

I love the artists who give Nardwuar respect. Still hate those jerks from Blur for being mean to this legend.

12:15 Current mood: Jerry Only lifting up his devilock to hock a loogie in the background

Nardwuar is not just an interviewer, he is a historian.  Had this interview never released, I would've never known there were members of The Ramones and Black Flag that were a part of Misfits.  Thanks for being you Nardy.

"there is a the ramones record coming out, dont buy it"

LUL

Wtf nardwuar has the hairiest shoulders I've ever seen....

“ya know, we got in touch”
“yah, and we’ve been touching ever since!”
bruh 🤣
