The "whoa whoa whoa, I have 76 charges not 77" made him admit he was Darrell Brooks and he understood the charges. Well played, Mrs. Opper, well played....

After saying he wasn’t Darrell brooks for 3 weeks he just said “I have 76 charges”

Look how proud he was of himself pointing out he has 76 charges not 77.

"You're right, you can't read people's minds. Nor can i. But the law doesn't require you to." COLD LINE

Smart move by the prosecution: got him to admit that he, Darrell Brooks, has 76 charges against him.

Why would the jury even nullify for brooks even if they can

“ mischaracterisation it’s 76 not 77 charges” OH WELL THAT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE!! SET HIM FREE! I CANT BELIEVE WE HAD HIM ALL WRONG

He is the most disgusting excuse for a human being.

Interesting how the judge just paused and smiled at DB after he pointed out the incorrect number of charges against HIM--thus admitting that he is, in fact, Darrell Brooks! Wondering if the prosecutor purposely laid this trap and Brooks walked right into it! 😉

He deserves an Oscar for his closing statement. Man, he even had a tissue ready for the tears! What a psychopath.

I feel like the prosecutor isn't getting enough credit for her part in this trial because of all the attention on Darrel Brooks. She does a great job of laying the foundation, providing sympathy for victims and their families, and showing the Jury who Darrel Brooks is and why he should be charged guilty. She is an excellent attorney.

She got hom on the record admitting he was Darrell Brooks. The smile from the judge priceless

He literally has to have the last word Every. Single. Time. He can't let anything go

“ Whoa Whoa Whoa. I have 999 charges not 1000 “ 😂😂😂

I love to see that the prosecutor played Darrell Brooks' vanity against him and forced him to admit that he is Darrell Brooks.

Sad part is he doesn't realize acting like this does not make the jury or the public opinion improve for him. It hurts him more than anything else. There have been gangsters, Serial killers who have acted better than he has

I never ever knew you could do objections during closing arguments. I’ve served on 2 trials, one a murder trial, and no one ever objected during closing arguments. This dude is batshit crazy.
