So my husband is playing Minecraft with his friends in the same room as I'm watching this video on the TV, and as soon as my husband heard driver two, he immediately whipped so fast, that man really loves that game to the point I bought it for him as a gift.

there's something funny yet tragic about halo and bungie being on top of the world when together only for both to completely destroy themselves 1ce they parted ways

I had Interstate’76 on the PC.

My lasting memory is a school bus blowing up and the voice line “oh god, the children are burning!”

Get the feeling it wasn’t available in Germany.

Batman Arkham Knight is a great game better than the live services game after that

Batman Arkham origins had such a good story tho 💔

57:48 in defence of Arkham Origins, it was developed by a different studio and the fact they played it safe for the most part and didn't evolve the franchise much doesn't make it a bad game. I especially don't understand why people criticise it for being similar to what most agree to be the actual best Arkham game (City of course), like that makes it a great game in my opinion

I just realised I have been watching you guys since you were 30k subs. now you are almost 400k

You guys forgot about "Gears Pop" that was a Legendary E3 announcement

I just gotta say. Crash Wrath of Cortex is called Crash 4 in Japan and we still got a new Crash 4. They just completely retconned it so everything after warped is no longer part of the timeline

TLDR: Rant about Need For Speed Carbon and then changes they made.

The weird thing with NFSC was just them pivoting from having the cop chases playing a large part in the progression in Most Wanted (2005), to them mainly being a nuisance in Carbon since interacting with chases gave you nothing in return, you didn't even need to leave the minimap as all events could just be started from there. It just felt like less game compared to what we had gotten with Most Wanted (2005). Also, the splitting the cars into tiers that limit what you should be using at points in the career, and redoing events netting you nothing so you couldn't even realistically have more than one vehicle in your car list. Just a lot of stupid changes to things that were perfectly fine in Most Wanted.

Majority of your time in Carbon was spent in the garage and on the minimap than any other part of the game.
Its a great game, but it couldve been so much better if they just added onto Most Wanted (2005) instead of cutting from it to introduce Canyon events on mountains you can never interact with outside of those specific events.

52:46 Fun fact: NFS Most Wanted 2012 was supposed to be the sequel to the first game and was meant to be really good, it would even have had a "2" in the title with a campaign and everything, but EA pressured Criterion Games to release the game and they released practically only the skeleton of the game. The game would certainly have been epic if it had been finished; there are leaked gameplay videos of the beta versions of NFS Most Wanted 2 for anyone who wants to see what the real game could have been like.

yo, been binge watching the older vids lately and a new one drops.

I still have my unopened copy of Driver 3 somewhere. I was given a review copy, played it and gave it back to the rep and said these words "Nah, we don't want to advertise that on the front page, it isn't good, yeah?" for HN and Domayne in Australia. I had to go and front the GM about my decision. He overruled me and we did the ad, they gave me a copy, I never played it. 17 copies on week launch.

I cut the orders before the GM noticed so we didn't have too much overstock but I got chewed out again.

I always wanted "Tomb Raider: Hospital bill" as part of the survival trilogy if just because of how many beatdowns she gets. Hell, you can add it to surgeon simulator at this point.

I do recommend the 2025 remaster of Tomb Raider: Angel of darkness remastered  and it fixes almost all game issues (they put modern control scheme including extra content.

Great video!!!!  🌟✨🌟✨🌟✨

Despite Halo 4's divisiveness, seeing Cortana take form and physically interact with Master Chief in the ending was emotional. They endured so much hell as partners throughout 4 games, feelings were bound to come out. Cortana’s line, "I've waited so long to do that," followed by Chief’s struggle to process everything, insisting they could still fix it, showed the deep codependency they had developed.

Your videos are always the juiciest, keep it up

FINALLY! I can end the binge!

Silent Hill or Splinter Cell would also fit
