"Dreams with Thoroughbreds" airs every Sunday from 5:15 PM
Episode 13: Takatoshi Konami (Former JRA Stablehand)

Main Horses: #Gold Ship, #Sodashi, #Red River

Konami's family home is right next to Kokura Racecourse, so he's been involved with horses since he was a child.
He dropped out of high school and entered the world of horse racing.
He's now known among horse racing fans as a "famous stablehand," but surprisingly, it wasn't until 2012 that one of Konami's horses won a G1 race: Gold Ship's Satsuki Sho.
Konami reunites with Gold Ship and reminisces about their days together.
Now that he's retired, what dreams does he harbor?

[Dreams with Thoroughbreds]
When you think of "people involved in horse racing," what kind of people come to mind? Jockeys, trainers, ranch owners, horse owners...

In addition to these spotlighted figures, many other people are involved with each thoroughbred.

This program explores the various thoughts and joys of the horsemen who send thoroughbreds to races, including stories of how they first became involved in horse racing. We'll guide you into the world of "thoroughbreds and their dreams."
