Running a family is a shared responsibility. When men say we need “me time,” it usually means our partner has to hold the fort while we step away. If that is the case, then it is only fair that we give them the same opportunity for their own “me time” while we take over.
The real issue is the imbalance — many of us expect personal time for ourselves but do not offer the same in return. A healthy family dynamic requires equal space, equal effort, and equal consideration.
I think in this video and even JK is wrong at many levels if men takes a me time women should also be able to get that and responsibilities should be shared equally to both...
I’ll tell you about the girl at 19:01. She doesn’t care about the like and post majorly, the anger and disappointment stems from the fact that he doesn’t have time to spend with her but he can do all other sorts of hobbies. I’m not saying men shouldn’t have hobbies, it is important to maintain peace of mind but they also need to understand that their peace of mind also comes from keep their women happy so there wouldn’t be any unhappiness between them or arguments that keeps coming back.
Some guys think the basic stuff in sustaining a relationship is interfering in their "me time". Either you shouldn't get married or marry a partner who accepts the life you want to lead after marriage. If friends are more important than anything else in your life, please DO NOT get married. Spend your life with friends.
No men will understand the tears of that one woman. All the women need just emotional support, just love if you give that she will give back thousand times more to you, but instead, you just ignore her.
23:15 This is a serious problem. All men do this. But think of it in this way. You talk to your friends about a problem freely because most of the times, you just crave for some comfort. The problem could've been a mistake of yours. But sharing the same with a family member gives a different response because that problem directly impacts you and your family. Kadan vanguna (for whatever reason) you're family's the one that would get affected. They can't be like vidra paathukalaam. Friends say vidra paathukalaam because at the end of the day they have their own lives (not blaming them) but you gotta understand this and stop glorifying sharing everything with friends and belittling your family. I'm no saint.. I myself do this a lot but looking from a 3rd person POV I'm able to understand that I'm also doing this a lot and trying to change slowly!
15:05 I love going to the movies alone. Because if I go with my friends they try to make jokes during every scene, and watching it along helps me concentrate better
