I like brother Abbas approach. he is so calm and speaks with logic.

First zoroastrian I've seen at Speakers corner. May Allah swt guide them.

That sign guy has been saying this even 3 years ago, now I realized that's what Israel and america is doing.

May Almighty Allah bless and increase your wisdom and knowledge brother Abbas..

i hate most of athiests who came to park thinking they no more abt science but actually are not well educated and reasonable enuf. they throw things like quantum theory etc to make them feel smart

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah has ninety-nine names, one-hundred less one and he who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise."

She thinks she is smarter than she actually is but regardless inshallah she will find to islam as that is the only way accepeted by Allah

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Verily Allah said: Whoever shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine, I declare war against him. My slave does not draw near to Me with anything dearer to Me than what I have made obligatory for him. My slave continues to draw near to Me by doing supererogatory deeds until I love him. When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask Me for something, I would surely give it to him, and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to hurt him."

Too good explanation by Abbas👍

Brother Abbas speaks logically and straightforwardly, backed by plenty of evidence, while she talks ambiguously without any evidence, relying solely on assumptions.

9:2 finally hopefully she got it. took almost 10 min

9:00 @theism is the art of dènying light while standing in it.

Unfortunately a lot went over this young lady's head. How brother Abbas explained with the teeshirt example and she was adamant contradictions can exist, then was adamant they can't when he started pointing out how the clouds aren't clouds and the ground is not the ground she couldn't accept her own ideology suddenly.

She seems to have a warped understanding of what contradiction means and seems to view it from just a subjective angle and not the objective one that brother Abbas is coming at.

Even though she agreed, I would like to see her accept that notion when it comes back to religion and God.

Also the comparison of the parents being her parents was a very good example by Brother Abbas and he is so kind to step back and take it off the table. In actually she doesn't have empirical scientific evidence to prove A) her mother is her mother because it could just be a coincidence with the genetic disorder or she could be adopted B) her father is her father because her having a genetic disorder does not prove her mothers loyalty.

Now these are just examples to prove that her REASONS aren't scientific but are still logical. because scientific proof would quash the points I raised here e.g. a DNA test like bother Abbas said.

Because by her logic, lookalikes of famous celebrities who have a lot of similarities by coincidence biologically, are now instantly related. And there are A LOT of lookalikes for so many celebrities so it isn't even super rare but is uncommon.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Many men reached perfection but none among the women reached perfection except Mary, the daughter of Imran, and Asia, Pharoah's wife. And the superiority of Aisha to other women is like the superiority of Tharid to other kinds of food."

This young lady is from the modern "I don't know about it so It shouldn't exist" school. Abbas is coming from a logical (not a scientific) standpoint that "at first there must have been something from which the universe originated" and she's like  "we're not educated enough to discuss this...." .

I Love Islam...

may Allah bless her

may Allah guide her and show her the Truth Ameen
