Never once in my life did I think to myself, “I wonder what Mathew McConaughey thinks about AI”

Ai.. Ai.. Ai.. - Matthew McConaughey

That's what Matthew loves about A.I. man. He gets older, but A.I. stays the same age".

10:00 Joe was totally selling me on AI. But after Matt said: "but then you're a passenger in your own life"... I immediately put the box down, no thank you and walked out of the store. 😅

If Joe keeps talking sweet about Peter thiel and saying chips are better than our brains might have to dip lol

I watched this movie... It was called Terminator

Most people imagine AI as tools that make life easier.
But ease corrodes skill: when the machine remembers, we stop practicing memory; when it argues for us, we stop learning to fight well.
That’s not just laziness — it’s a strategic disadvantage in moments that demand raw human grit.

1:13 yeah Joe…Peter Thiels pause about humanity surviving was so hilarious….

Couldn't think of a better person to speculate about AI. This is the guy that went into a black hole, discovered a new dimension, and handed humanity the secret to their salvation through a bookshelf.

@Matt McConaughey - You can run your own:

A. Install LM Studio → download a 7-8B GGUF model → enable GPU offload → run locally.
B. Install Ollama → pull a 7-8B model (quantized) → run it via CLI or its GUI → use the local API.
C. Use llama.cpp → get a GGUF model → run with GPU-layer offload to squeeze VRAM usage.
D. Use NVIDIA TensorRT-LLM → convert/quantize your chosen model → build the TensorRT engine → run inference for max performance.

Ai is turning our brains to
Mush

Here is a great quote that applies from the first Tron movie....the computers will start thinking and the people will stop.

The greatest risk isn’t AI taking jobs
it’s us outsourcing judgment, courage, and memory
until we become soft, optimized consumers of our own pasts.

Easily one of my favorite actors and favorite people I’ve never met. He doesn’t even do that many interviews yall crazy to diss this take smh — humans 🤦🏽‍♂️

The fact that we forget things is merciful. Imagine the level of depression and suicide if people could remember every failure, every remorse, every mistake ...

Alright, alright, alright.

4:32 right right right - Joe rogan

AI AI AIIII... [Insert Matt Mc voice]

Matthew is presented with the God of knowledge and what he wants most, is to learn more about himself.
Makes sense.

Jeez that "an then u become the passenger " comment really hit, that guys like well into what ever he reads about
