JHS Pedals

This week's episode is a tribute to Spiral FX and legendary pedal designer Tom Cram. The jams get a little antagonistic within the band, but we're 95% that Nick and Addison aren't going to quit JHS Pedals in a fit of rage. Hang on to your hats, and enjoy this deep dive into one of the coolest handmade pedal companies of our time.

Thanks for the love JHS! And thanks for all the kind words Citizens of the Internets! I was on a short vacation in the mountains of Idaho when this dropped, the spotty internet made it so that I could only watch little snippets, but it was exciting to see the response! Rest assured I'll be working my tail off next week building and fulfilling orders! What a riot!

I'd totally see JHS live if Josh, Addison, and Nick went on tour and just jammed.

The Nick/Addison swap just goes to show just how talented they both are. They should both get a raise. Neither Nick or Addison told me to say that. Really.

Man, that Secret Chord got my attention big time.

Poor guy. Got screwed by Digitech first, then Eventide who took his original Rose Pedals name. Thank you Josh for showing this guy some love. Cheers :)

The DOD Carcosa is the best bass fuzz I've ever tried. I'm seriously considering getting the spiral version

Props to Nick and Addison for properly rocking each others main instruments.

The line you said about "all you who buy $7,000 Klons, should buy this instead"-- could not agree more!

I own both the White Spiral and the Secret Chord. While very similar, their characters are a little different. The Secret Chord is a touch more "high fidelity", where the White Spiral has just a bit more of what I would call a "raunchiness" when it starts clipping.

Yes, they are the "...from my cold, dead hands" pedals on my board. I have at least one of them switched ON at any given time while I'm playing. They're THAT GOOD!

Can confirm Tom Cram is a legend

Proud owner of a Brute Fuzz. It's super cool

I love seeing Spiral Electric getting a shout out. Tom is always a hoot at tradeshows too... if you ever get a chance to meet up with him, DO IT.

This is great. Tom is a pivotal figure in all this and good people to boot. I have four of his pedals: Black, Yellow (LTD), Allora and this years Summer Cyan (LTD). You can't go wrong with anything Tom makes or Tom for that matter.

'before Neil Young dumped Spotify' is a sound I absolutely need!

The "he has the box" jingle is the sole reason that I now keep the box.
I don't know what to do with it, but I just can't throw it away....

Tom Cram is a genius and legend.. Mahalo for doing this video JHS.. As an artist I’ve worked with Tom for years playing his pedals he developed at Digitech/ DOD and Hardwire etc. Not just a talented guy but also a great guy.

That white Klon overdrive thing sounds especially good to me

Tom Cram is a top bloke. Creative, funny and makes outstanding gear.

Im not sure there is a better show related to guitar/pedals/music than the JHS show. Making something that many see as unapproachable as relatable, fun, and insightful and educational all in one.

Love these types of vids.
