i saw the run time title and thumbnail and my dumbass thought someone uploaded an obscure movie featuring aaron paul i had never heard of to youtube

what made me really sad about Jane's death is that her father althought broken was kinda ready for this to happen ... it's like all the years he invested into helping to get back on track came with the constant assumption that it might all be for nothing ... you could see something quitely died inside of him like the hope his daughter would make it was just a fleeting dream he clinged onto

Babe a new 1.5 hour long video essay about the breaking bad universe just dropped

43:09 And HE gets to die in peace?! WHAT A SICK JOKE!"

"I'll wrap this up quickly because I know you've been sat there for ages"
Nah, I wish this was four hours long.

he goes sicko mode on the phone.

Skyler White is one of the most misunderstood characters in TV history. Her crime was being a compassionate, vulnerable human being functioning under oppressive circumstances and trying to protect her family. The scene where she just walks into the pool haunts me.

I think part of why death gets glossed over usually in both shows, is because Walt and Jimmy are in a constant state of denial. Denying that what they do is wrong, telling themselves it's justified, that it's just the way the world works. But in Saul Gone, when Jimmy acknowleges a lot of people would still be alive if he'd made different choices, that's a great moment. Just being honest and wrestling with what he was complicit in is nice after he started the episode making a mockery of those same deaths (in front of a widow no less).

i like the first gag where chuck runs out to see Walt driving because the houses are actually in the same neighborhood

21:30 I TOTALLY agree with this. And it's clearly in Bryan Cranston's performance. The subtle voice crack when he says "I am the danger" makes it feel like he's telling himself as much as he's telling Skyler. It's not just intimidation, it's cope.

"He goes sicko-mode on the phone" is such a crazy ass line in an otherwise pretty serious video essay lol.

Marie asking Jessie whether she'd like to adopt him caught me off guard

Fine. I'll rewatch the entire Breaking Bad universe in order again.

Then Chuck goes sicko mode on the mic

that mash-up of scenes between bb, bcs and walking dead might be the funniest shit i saw in a while

I had a nightmare about the idea of dying and having your existence erased when i thought of black holes and how if you were to fall into one, you'd be erased from the universe...
But getting turned into meat soup from being dissolved in acid sounds far FAR worse in hindsight....

the fact we get hour+ long videos almost 15 years after the show ends just shows how fuckinig high the peaks of this show is, best tv show ever

bro that flash back at karaoke was so sad cause it reminds you jimmy loved chuck he was the reason he bacame a lawyer after what chuck said he bottled them up then multiple episodes of him pretending he doesnt matter only for episode 10 to remind you

OK my favourite part of this video is the random use of outtakes.
"Why are Hector and Gus laughing togeth-ohhhhh"
