wow, look at how little the game has changed visually. obviously the newer games are in higher definition, but the player models are identical

its basically still the same game today with like 50 features removed lol

Played this game so much when PS3 first came out lol. Played every game every season for like 8 seasons

Kev i don’t know what your schedule is like, but you should make these other games into episode running series. We would enjoy the hell out of seeing you play these games more than once

I remember playing this as a kid and figuring out a way to steal home on rtts every time you got on 3rd base. All you had to do was take the largest lead off the base and hold the return to base button and get back from the pickoff attempt or a quick pitch is coming to home plate. The very next pitch, you'd be able to immediately break for home while the pitcher is deciding his next pitch and he wouldn't react to you. This game was great growing up haha

The problem with modern sports games is that all they care about is online ranked. They had to make this game visually appealing with great gameplay features to get people to buy it

this game through to mlb 12 were the years that really made me love this game and baseball itself

Great to see somebody playing older games. I'm playing MLB 09 The Show on PS2. I'm a closing pitcher. Just got to the MLB from triple A.

I absolutely loved this game. Way better than the new ones imo.

Why in 2009 does the game look more fluid..... Haven't purchased since 2024. Happy to say that. The devs stopped caring 10 years ago. Just took me awhile to get over it. The show and me are done. I owned every single one from 2006 - 2024. Sad because who they hurt the most, is the people who got them a name in the first place.

Back when MLB the show was so good it was the entire reason i got a ps3

Bro crows feet Baggy pants and eye bags are all in the game still and always have been. How do u not know this

First time i played was Rtts on mlb 08 on my PSP when i was little.. was hooked ever since. Some of my earlier and best gaming moments honestly. Thanks for the awesome throwback!

First RTTS came out in mlb the show 06 with Big papi on the cover I remember playing that game religiously as a kid was one of the best version imo made so many different HOFers in that game ahhh good times!

You go, Kilgore!  I love movies and TV shows and pro wrestling from the 1980s and 90s.  Playing video games from days gone by could be every bit as magical.

Would actually like to see this become a series

How is there better animations in this game than the current game 😭
