Aw it sucks seeing him so genuinely scared, the rest of us are really fortunate not to be around so much casual gun violence

Should have worn that armored stool they conveniently provided you with.

I cannot believe this kind of crowd work actually works AND flies in Indonesia.

the therapist hearing both sides like the final boss of emotional damage

Fun fact, Indonesia is pretty much dead center on the opposite side of the earth from Florida, just a little further north.

that person was carrying the laser pointer for years waiting for the perfect moment

The DC and Marvel mix ups - It is way funnier to get it wrong

I really appreciate he didn't make the whole standup routine based around the country and the new culture like many comedians do. I imagine that the audience members don't come to an American comedian to hear their take on the culture but prefer to just hear their usual jokes.

@domskileaks 4 months ago

why'd you scare him like that... 😭😭😭

@rorytriscuit 4 months ago

So, in Germany, it's "Shall we file taxes together?"
In Japan, it's "Would you make me soup for life?"
and I guess in Indonesia, it's "Will you see my therapist?" :hands-yellow-heart-red:

With the timing of the laser I genuinely thought it was him leaning into his theatre background.

All this touring is very educational for Gianmarco, I can see his growth as an American. Getting smarter with communicating with non-native speakers. Can use metric now. Understands how America is perceived abroad, develops an outside-in view on his country. Lots of big and small things. Lovely.
