🧘♀️ Yoga for PCOD / PCOS, Hormonal Imbalance & Irregular Periods | Natural Healing
Are your periods irregular or painful?
Do you experience weight gain, acne, hair fall, or mood swings due to PCOD or PCOS?
This yoga flow is designed specially for women struggling with hormonal imbalances, helping you restore balance naturally through asanas, pranayama, and lifestyle changes.
In this session, you’ll learn:
🌿 The root cause of PCOD/PCOS from the yogic point of view.
💫 How energy (prana) imbalances in the Swadishthana Chakra affect your reproductive health.
🥗 The right diet & lifestyle habits to reverse PCOD naturally.
🧘♀️ A powerful sequence of pelvic-opening Yoga asanas to improve blood flow, remove blockages, and rejuvenate your reproductive organs.
✨ Remember: Only doing asanas is not enough — to truly heal PCOD from the root, you must also cleanse your body, eat Satvic food, move daily, and breathe deeply.
🌸 Yoga Tips for Women with PCOD / PCOS
✅ Do’s:
Practice yoga daily — especially hip-opening asanas like Baddha Konasana, Malasana, and Setu Bandhasana.
Include pranayama like Anulom Vilom or Nadi Shodhan to calm the nervous system and balance hormones.
Eat light, fresh, and Satvic meals — include fruits, vegetables, soaked nuts etc.
Sleep early and wake up early — hormonal healing happens when your circadian rhythm is balanced.
Keep yourself hydrated and practice gratitude or journaling to release emotional stress.
Take a 15–20 minute walk after every meal.
🚫 Don’ts:
Avoid processed, oily, and refined foods — they block the flow of prana.
Avoid overexertion — PCOD healing needs patience and consistency, not intensity.
Don’t suppress emotions — emotional healing is as important as physical healing.
Things to remember
1. Practice on an empty stomach. Always keep a gap of at least 3 hours between your meal and practice. If you have had a fruit, 2 hours is good enough.
2. Wear loose cotton clothes while practicing. Please do NOT wear tight, polyester, dry-fit clothing while practicing yoga. Your skin needs fresh air as you get in and out of asanas.
3. Practice only as much as you comfortably can. Never try to force yourself into poses. Please remember to be gentle with yourself.
4. If you’re a complete beginner, it would be wise to keep a mirror next to you. This will help you observe yourself as you get in and out of asanas and allow to self-correct

Yes, but if you have severe cramps or discomfort, please skip the asana practice for the day. If practicing, please avoid asanas with inversions.

2) There’s been a lot of discussion around Vitamin B12 and milk, so let’s clarify this simply 👇
About Vitamin B12 :
In order to understand this topic properly, we must understand where B12 originates from. B12 is made by microorganisms living in soil and water. Humans and other animals then absorb these microorganisms into their systems through the food they eat and the water they drink.
Our ancestors would get their B12 supply in the form of:
bacteria on root vegetables/tubers pulled from the ground
by drinking water from ponds, rivers, or other natural drinking water
by eating meat (since those animals also ingested bacteria from soil and water)
However, in today’s day and age, It is unlikely to get enough of it on a plant-based diet. This is because:
Large scale farming and high pesticide use in farming, leading to mineral depletion from our soil. Hence, B12 is no longer found in most of the soil that we grow our food in.
The vegetables we buy are thoroughly scrubbed beforehand, which washes off whatever B12 left on it.
The water we tend to drink is usually treated with chlorine.
This is why, in the modern day, it is common to have a vitamin B12 deficiency. Someone eating meat and dairy can still encounter problems through a lack of B12 in their system.
In order to fulfil B12 requirements, B12 supplements become neccessary. We at Satvic Movement suggest you get your blood tests done. If you find that you are low in B12, take one supplement daily (dosage between 250 – 500 mcg)
After 3 months, get your blood levels checked again and see if levels are normal.
Once your blood levels reach normal, take one tablet every once or twice a week for life to maintain levels.
It is best to maintain levels around 400 pg/mL.
About Milk :
Milk is NOT BAD. Commercial, Mass-distributed Dairy is! If you can find a source where cows are not injected with hormones, are free to graze in open fields, are not separated from their calves and tortured, it’s okay to have milk.
