Queen marlana was a an astronaut that went through a wormhole ended up in eternia

beast man looked soo good

“You’re but worms beneath my feet.” “Did he just call us Buttworms?” 😂🤣

Had mid-expectations.  It exceeded my expectations so much that I watched it 4 times in theatres.  Love, love, love this movie.

Took my son to see this and it's probably the only film we've BOTH enjoyed at the cinema. I mean it was basic AF in terms of any kind of story but it was vibrant, entertaining and made me feel like a kid again.

And aside from running the Fisto/Ram Man gags into the ground, I thought the humour worked well and the tone was about right.

God I love the soundtrack to this movie

The music legit should be  nominated.

This channel DOES need more Dolph .. And this new version of Masters Of The Universe is WONDERFUL!

All hail Eternia’s textiles industry. Teela’s white jumper looked clean through all the world-saving.

Sorceress: "I just wanted to tell you good luck, we're all counting on you."

46 year old here, I teared up at the nostalgia several times. Lots of jokes that didn't land well, but I wasn't bored one single second and mostly had a huge grin throughout.

the entire genre was literally called "30-minute toy commercials".
Shows like He-Man, Centurions, Sky Commanders, Dino Riders, the whole lot. Unlike franchises that had merchandise made for them, these were made to promote an existing line of toys. And as cheesy as He-Man was, each episode actually came with a moral lesson, like confidence, honesty, dilligence, etc. Man, I do miss those saturday morning cartoons...

Remember, this is Amazon Prime. They've spent this kind of money on features and properties that have never been in theaters. There's still a good chance fir a sequel.

18:58 That is Pig Boy that’s a character from the 1987 Masters Of The Universe movie. In 1986, Mattel ran a nation-wide sweepstakes offering one lucky kid a cameo appearance in the upcoming He-Man movie. Entry forms were distributed at retailers like Toys "R" Us.  The winner was Richard Szponder, an eight-year-old He-Man fan from the Chicago suburbs. So the Pigboy character was created for the winner of the contest. But this version of Pigboy got a little more screen time than the original.

As a legacy MOTU fan and it being my favourite IP of all time, I LOVED this movie. I saw it 7 times at the cinema, twice on opening day.
And with it being Amazon, there will be plenty more to come!

I was shocked at how good this was ❤❤❤

@RhetoricalThrill , that shirt !!!! ROFL

I took "the front is a facade" to mean the future is unpredictable and you may never know what's ahead of you but "if you back yourself there's nothing you can't achieve"

Awesome movie
