Hey, my friends! Welcome back to this corner. Look, I'm going to tell you something seriously: anyone who hasn't had a rough time with immigration in this country doesn't know what it's like to live in the empire. Today, we're coming in hot on The George Harris Show live, dissecting that itch we all feel when we have to fill out a form and they ask what color you are. What a humiliation! In our countries, you were either white or brown, that's it, but here they ask you: Caucasian white, brown Hispanic, café con leche Hispanic, or just plain Hispanic with a slippery mother. You end up doubting your own existence!

In this Spanish-language stand-up comedy, I'm talking about the true superpower we have: the three races together! The Black who brings the flavor, the shamanic Native American, and the European white. A force so badass that not even the most stubborn dogs can touch us. The English arrived in the north with their wives, their children, and their manners, but the Spanish arrived on our land drunk, disembarking with machetes and having their way with the indigenous women who welcomed them happily. That's why there's no such thing as a pure Latino on this continent; we all have Uncle Ramón in our blood, and that's why Japanese hair straightening doesn't work when the Miami humidity hits.

We also got nostalgic remembering the wild schools of the '80s, where the teachers would bully you terribly in front of the whole set. They'd see you and yell, "González, you're getting a big belly, you can't stand up straight!" Or the Latin teacher—a subject that was utterly useless—who told a classmate named Ron, who had a terrible cough, to stand up and say, "Have a shot of rum!" The kid died soon after, and we were left with the trauma of that old woman! These days, American kids are financially independent by 16, they buy their own used cars, and they tell you they're going out. Meanwhile, in Latin America, you were 42, living with your mom, and she'd proudly shout, "What a man I gave birth to! He likes his steak cooked to perfection!"

To wrap things up, I'll open my closet of secrets and tell you how my American grandfather got six girls pregnant in the 60s, and thanks to that American machete, I managed to get my papers. But the process with my mom was endless because my uncles terrified her, saying that since she'd never paid taxes in the United States, they were going to arrest her at the embassy. What a crazy family!
