23:35 Dante’s probably been waiting for years to make fun of Shakespeare, considering how much Vergil liked poetry

“Not a bad name!”
“Neither is yours”
If we are to believe this is when he realized who Nero’s father is, then when Dante says “neither is yours”, he’s doing it in an almost satisfied way, like he’s glad to know his newfound nephews name.

"It's gotta stay in the family."
"Then keep it."
Dante probably had suspicions, but, as soon as he saw Nero's "Devil Shadow", he knew what was going on.

Dante mocking Nero by revving Rebellion like Red Queen never gets old

Nero reloads his gun with style

I love how it's just every Dante scene ever in dmc 4

Everyone being so serious yet Dante is just playing around with all of them. Never gets old.

Beatiful detail where Nero almost stabs Dante the exact same way that Vergil did in DMC3. Showcasing both Vergil and Nero’s similarities while also showing how much more experienced Dante is now that he can dodge it.

Usually in other games, New enemies introduce themselves with a showoff to the protagonist. But in DMC, Dante introduce himself to the new enemies and make them look like ass clowns... 😂😂

Dante in 4 is probably my favorite version of him. He's just a classic guy no matter the game.

DMC4 arguably has the best “Dante mocking his enemies” moments in the series so far.

When you realized that in Lore wise, DMC 4 was just a little catwalk for Dante.

I like how at 18:09 when Dante is messing around with the lure that the demon is using he is always avoiding their touch since their touch can freeze you, which shows how not only did he know that the demon was their already, he also figured out the trick the demon uses to keep his "prey" easy to devour

28:00 Dante: it's bad for the community...

Proceeds to drop massive structure on the community... 😆

This is how you do legacy characters. You show them as cool as they were, and do not denigrate them to promote your newer characters. Modern game developers (and writers in general) should take the lesson.

26:11 For those of you wondering what it is that demons lack, it's the ability to love. With the exception of Sparda, demons in the DMC world don't feel love

DMC 4 was the first game of the series i saw and when I found the scene where Dante just blowed off a pope's head, I felt the same as Nero "why is he killing innocents?". this game without context really is something
