Jon Easdon's Slap Shot Scud is an ingenious departure from the classic scud pattern. Tied on a jig and utilizing a tungsten bead the fly gets down quick and rides hook point up resulting in far fewer bottom snags. It is also a great stillwater trout pattern fished under an indicator.
