Headcanon: All previous generations take place during Discord's reign. This was one of the ways he tortured Equestria

"Fanfiction would reject this kind of character!"

...new favorite insult.

To be fair, I kinda smirked at the "You broke Santa" line myself.  I mean, Minty's badly delivered explanation was basically throwing that one right over the plate.  And I can totally see G4 Pinkie giving that response too, so yeah.

“You broke Santa?” = the only line that could have ever possibly had a shred of a chance to save the special.

"He's taken my wife..."
"What?!"
"...On an all expenses paid vacation and i really dont have anything else to do."
Me: ....Pft... (falls over laughing for ten minutes)

*Minty: I was trying to be Santa

*Pinkie: Why? What's wrong with the real Santa?

*Minty: Boken

*Pinkie: You broke Santa?

Lol that's so funny.

So...Anyone think we should put together Another contest with even Greater consequences next year? :)

“Minty, I’m sure everything will be ok, no matter what you did!”

“I committed mass genocide!”

Pinkie: “You broke Santa?”
I wouldn’t be surprised either.

"Remember kids, eating glitter is perfectly safe."

Edible glitter exists.

Starlight Glimmer found a portal to G3 and made them "equal"

I swear that Tabitha St. Germain wasn't getting paid enough for this hell. I love her in G4. Thank God she actually sounds intelligent and nice as Rarity and Princess Luna.

Now people, you understand why Lauren Faust wanted to make Gen 4(FIM)'s characters have actual personalities.

"Leave town! :D"

It actually took me about 3 seconds to realize what she just said (with help from Wolf and Josh's reactions)
Then i burst out in *pure laughter*.

"I wanna magical horsey wide at WARP SPEEEEEEED" kills me every time.

24:02 as Mr Enter would say "Stop giving the shippers ammo, they have enough by now."

Wolf's word of the year of 2016: "Dahling"

"In consideration of the risk of loss of brain cells while participating in watching "A Very Minty Christmas" (the "Activity"), and as consideration for the rights to participate in the Activity, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, and is anybody still reading this? Seriously, who among you has the time to sit down, pause this review, and read the whole of a legal waiver just to see if it actually is a legal waiver and not just a bunch of jokes?"

Me: stupidly raises hand

I honestly love all the generations, especially because of this fact:
Without the past generations, Friendship is Magic wouldn’t have even existed, even G3 helped, by inventing characters that are now in G4, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are named after G3 ponies.

minty :oh is that ur foot oh sorry

me: what foot?!?? U HAVE HOOVES.
