I feel like Alabama and Florida would be favored over LSU on a neutral field but ig not

I think it’s time to retire or alter the model.

this is just a Fanduel add then at this point.

My favorite part of going through the JP poll is listening to JP explain that the JP poll is not rankings lol. The alert under the power ratings stating “power ratings are not rankings” still has people talking about ratings.

In your defense/criticism when you continually explain power ranking I'm concerned you havent looked around at humanity 😂 Love your show man!

How is UCLA not in the power ratings with 2 road wins against p4 teams in 2 different conferences by double digits

I don’t mind the polls of the rankings. What I’m actually interested in is a segment where you give us a list of performances by teams so far this year that convinced you “this team can go win a national championship”.

Had all that to say about the AP and then puts out lists abominably worse lol JP is a funny guy

Miami is ranked 4th they won’t play a ranked team till November 4th. Texas plays 7 ranked teams, Ohio State plays 5 raked teams. Just for and example

From unranked to #8 in 4 weeks for Florida is crazy and have to play Texas and Georgia

How after Iowa beats Michigan on the road are they below Michigan?

Do you have listed somewhere the criteria that the model uses to make these decisions? I’m sure there are complicated formulas, but even a simplified summary might be helpful. Like is it largely based on offensive and defensive efficiency among other factors.

I understand the concept and appreciate that you give people a power ranking concept to look at. I am curious of how games shift the team’s power rankings. For example the ole miss vs Florida game, did Florida’s power rankings go up and ole miss go down? Or did Florida’s power rankings go up and that was the only thing that changed? What are the main things that shift after a game is played?

Why won’t you show us 26-40? That’s always the best part of ratings

Where is Ok State?

The market has been ridiculously far off on TAMU for a LONG while now. Let's hope your pre-season power ratings next year do not fluff them up again... Of course, you'll have other SEC teams fluffed up instead I am sure.

Florida would push it in on lsu

As a Michigan fan, Iowa deserves more respect from the model (keep in mind I’m talking about the model ratings, I know this is not a real poll). I felt like we played our most dominant game last week but credit to Iowa, they beat us because we weren’t able to finish. Iowa was beaten in 2/3 phases but hung in there to finish that game in front of our home crowd. Watch out for the Hawkeyes.

I think Florida and Bama would beat LSU and Indiana on a neutral field.....and I'm an LSU fan, but as you said..."favored" by Vegas.
Georgia and Ohio State clearly #1 and #2.... in that order for me personally......I'd see them being favored over anyone right now.
