Strange woman at door while the sun is exploding and raining heat onto the world: "i'm soooooo coooooold"
Arin: "yeah let her in"

I looked up a walkthrough. Arin did an amazing job of only letting in visitors and saying the exact wrong things to lose. It's almost as if he had an anti-walkthrough in front of him. Oddly impressive.

If it isn’t Arin “WELL I DIDN’T KNOW THAT” Hanson

i've never seen two men more confused by a washing machine with a basin and sponge on it

Arin's just the absolute best game tester for Early Access.  Look at the wealth of information the game dev can take from this playthrough.

Arin IMMEDIATELY skipping all dialoge by drinking beer

This video has huge "mobile game ad where they do everything wrong" energy and I can't stop laughing because you know damn well it isn't intentional with The Grumps.

Hope the devs see this video. The player being able to accidentally skip the tutorial is big oversight.

Their luck is that Arin is the god of skipping tutorials, even when he doesn't mean to.

The sun is exploding and the game grumps are your only hope for survival. That’s true horror

It is astonishing the talent Arin has to find the one way to screw up a game from the start 😅

I feel like the grumps do a really great job of promoting indie games, because every time they play one of these I’m both incredibly amused by their playthrough while also being like “well now I have to get this myself so I can see it played correctly”

(Also see: home safety hotline, that’s not my neighbor, etc lmao)

Arin breaking the game because he accidentally didn't read the instructions is so funny.

Arin constantly clicking on the fridge was... Incredible. In every sense of the word.

"...why yes I am completely alone strange person inquiring randomly at the amount of people within my house. I also will be sliding under the door a list of known potentially lethal allergies I have. You may also have a look at this psych evaluation I took noting all my deep fears and phobias. This was a completely normal interaction and I should not be in danger." -Arin probably

arin just immediately clicking the fridge to set his energy to 0 is pretty on brand.

@0:33 I’ve done some fact checking, and Dan actually does NOT love creepy scary games. In fact, he got scared at “Normal Fishing.”

The "don't say you're home alone" part from the tutorial guy had some "don't use the green ring it does almost no damage" energy.

it's definitely an oversight that you can accidentally skip the tutorial, but idk if i've ever seen anyone else playing this make that mistake. if it's possible to have anti-gamesense, arin has it

Arin ignoring literally every warning given to children and women: Yeah, I'm alone in the house. Totally

Now that the full game is out, I can’t stop thinking about how badly I want them to play this again💔
