Mate, I'm sweating.

Saying “Don’t give up” while I’m laying flat on my back giving up is wild

Please show how to do it on the 40L, because I swear to God the zipper is way too small and the bag can not physically pass through

If my life depended on this I would be dead

It’s easier to find a black hole than to repack this backpack. I love it tho but they need to improve this mechanism.

i rewatch this video every time i have to refold it lol

Ex Patagonia employee and attempted this 3 times before getting it the night before my flight. Holy

I finally got it but it would be so much easier if only that interior zipper was a couple inches wider to more easily engulf the folded up bag

Why is the 40L so HARD I swear it’s not made to go back into its pocket

4 videos later, a bit of a struggle and I was finally able to fold it. 🎉

Make sure to select "Strength Training" from your Apple watch prior to repack.

video was a life saver. would not have figured it out without it

It feels like such a shame to open it back up after finally getting it back in the bag lol but thank you for the tutorial!

Oh boy, no idea how I would have done it without this video. Love the bag and now I can easily put it away until the next adventure calls :)

I did it!  Took three tries.  Broke a sweat, need to "practice"...

I swear the 40L version 2's bag is way too small. I feel like im about to rip the inner bag. Maybe because of the stiff material?

Guys and girls, I figured it out (on the 40l). It's still an immense hassle, but I got it to work. Fold everything exactly as shown (also make sure to do the "accordeon" - the first video didn't show this and made it impossible).

When "rolling over" the zipper of the inside bag (the part where they cut a lot and probably got additional help), make sure to first continuosly roll one side of the zipper over ONE SIDE of the folded up bag (essentially packing up/stuffing in half the duffle) AND THEN roll the other side of the zipper over the 2nd half of the bag. This way I got it to work after numerous tries. Now I've got to rest my hands (and I'm a climber..).

Good luck! I also second the motion to increase the inner bags zipper by a few inches to make this maneuvre feasable. I would bet that the material, no matter how strong it is, will not withstand this kind of violence for ever.

It worked but it was also a workout! Thank you 😆

This was very helpful! Really easy if you do it like this. I got the 70 l version though. It's all packed up and even more compact than when I got it new.

This video is the top notch instruction for the Patagonia Black Hole Duffle!
