Man, this was the game that first introduced me to rogurt, it’s been one hell of a ride witnessing you guys play this game, and it’s bittersweet to know that this will probably be the last video on this game

Here’s a summary of the story: The first chapter (the house) You play as henry who is trying to avoid the original and first ever intruder that we later learn was sent by the sarah from the oak deer inn/mansion. Henry at that time was griefing for his supposedly dead wife and child. (It was an orchestrated scenario so sarah could marry asmodeus aka the devil) Henry decides to investigate (in the solo mode) so he could take his revenge on the same intruder that tried to kill him(btw same intruder that sarah killed in this chapter and orchestrated the car crash with her aka the og one). He fails but gets evidence for the police who are still unable to catch him. In oak deer inn, henry sends one of his connections (Doe aka the guy we meet in the diner and play as in the oak deer chapter) to investigate instead of him for a sum of money cuz he is more experienced ig. He succeeds and gathers evidence and finds out his wife is actually alive, ruined his family and tried to kill him.
Other chapters are fillers from my understanding except VHS 2 where Henry’s son (Jason, the boy with the messed up face) dies from the intruder. And then we have the final chapter which is also related to the main story.
So no henry is not schizo, all of it actually happened. Asmodeus just fucked him over. (how she met him is written in the diary notes of sarah in the thing’s section)
Hope this helps. (i think we play as henry in mental hospital but idk where that fits in the timeline.)

They don’t call it the trespasser I can tell you that much

Ok so let me get the lore straight:

• VHS 1 & 3 aren't connected to the main plot, but rather show that the demons aren't JUST going for Henry.

• Most of the story is focused on Henry, who's wife, Sarah, and son, Jason, presumably went missing/died in a "car crash".

• The House is Henry's first encounter with The Intruder.

• The Mall and The End? take place after and Henry tries to get evidence to report this to the police, although the police aren't able to catch any of the demons.

• VHS 2 shows how Henry's son, Jason, actually died. The Intruder led him to a cave and then killed him there.

• The Mental Hospital has you playing as a random patient, and The Intruder along with a few other try to kill him. However, Henry follows the Intruder here and gets a shot on him, but doesn't kill him.

• In the lodge, you play as Doe, the guy at the diner, who is sent by Henry to investigate further.
He finds out that the demons has killed many people, including (i think) people related/associated to Doe and the people who used to own the lodge. And by now you (may) realize, Sarah was part of those victims, however...

• The Mineshaft has The Intruder there. What I interpret this is this is the start of all those weird areas in Dis Manibus and The End (like the P.T-looking place, The Hallway with pillars, etc)

• Similarly, The Subway also shows this, as The Demons are most likely using and taking over trains in order to get from place to place.

• The Hotel is another investigation by Henry. But is the biggest set-up for Dis Manibus. As he finds out about Sarah, and she tries to kill him.

And Dis Manibus finally ends this whole saga off.

There is still a bunch of unexplained stuff such as The Friendly Demon from the hospital (who supposedly is dead by the time The Lodge takes place) and The Oak Deer Inn residents (who may have been demons), but I tried to just piece it together as best as I can.

Also Im two months late, so probably 9 people will actually read this lol

Also Rogurt about the story, it starts in the singleplayer stages (The 3 Tapes) and after that it goes to the multiplayer levels, try to rewatch your old Intruder videos and it'll make sense somehow :]

Also Jason was the son in one of the tapes, it explains why he is there because the Intruder killed him in the cave

The intruder was always confusing as it had no story as we went from working at a mall to repairing generators in a mine? Besides that you still made this confusing game funny

0:55 they listened

And with this, the OG Rogurt lore has finally come to its conclusion...

Maybe the real Intruder was the friends he met along the way.
