I accidentally left 4 batches of rocks tumbling for SIX MONTHS 😬 So… did they turn out amazing, completely ruined, or somewhere in between? In this video, I open up the tumblers, check the damage (or magic), and see what really happens when you forget about your rocks for way too long.

I met my wife 35 years ago. When she moved in, she made sure I knew which of her boxes, yes in the plural, had her "favorite rocks". 😅 Our yard and home are filled with her "keepers".

Old retired man here from the Southeast USA.

Suggestion:
Use your Cell Phone's CALENDAR as an alert (Reminder) to do different things. Just make sure when your phone alerts you, you GET IT DONE. This is what I do. Hope this helps.

Everybody needs a hobby. My father was a professional geologist. He told me I would get bored with rock tumbling. Now that I'm much older the grinding sound would probably piss me off and the waiting would make me bored.

However, it's cool to watch the video.

Wow...i forgot all about rock tumbling. Last time I had one was in the early 70's and it was really cool to see the results from my local creek, with different grades of sand, mud, etc. I also put pennies, nickels and dimes and quarters in there as well. I still have a bag full of them somewhere from then.

As a teenager I could not understand what my Grandpa saw in rock tumbling, boring?! I can't belive I have lived long enough to think about trying it myself! I wonder what the grandkids are gonna think?
