They say that "A good man is like a river, he brings life wherever he flows", and my guest today, Diana Decuseară-Onică, an actress at the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater in Chisinau, brings life and inspiration.
Although she attended the Ciprian Porumbescu Music High School as a child, she chose acting as her vocation and has been performing on the stage of the National Theater in Chisinau for over 20 years.
She recently launched herself in cinema, playing the main role in the film "Mario, Maria, Marinel", a film about longing, family, migration and the strength of a woman who holds the whole world on her shoulders.
She was declared the person of the year 2025 by a magazine from the capital, but she was also appreciated with the distinction of "Best female role" for her role in the play "Siberian Files". We learn from Diana that at birth she was supposed to be given the name Dorica, the same as her character in this play.
She is the mother of 3 children, and her two daughters are international Badminton champions. How she manages to be a mother of champions, herself being a champion of the Chisinau theater, we find out in this episode of #deOameniBuni with Diana Decuseară- Onică.
Diana speaks in this podcast, for the first time, about the pain of separating from her father and how she was forced to act in the play on the very evening of the day her father died. "I was crying, my colleagues were crying with me," the actress confesses.
We also talk in the podcast about family, love, children, gratitude... but also about the beauty of the soul and the body. Diana Decuseară affirms that her body is her "work tool" and she leads a healthy lifestyle to stay in shape.
What other beauty secrets does Diana Decuseară have, but also what else she would like from life, find out by watching this exclusive interview, "Good People"!
