All of these sound like half-remembered dreams you’re trying to describe to your friends the morning after

The funniest part is how many are "actually good.... confusingly"

"Implied tennis" just reminds me "Blue mountain state" where the show apparently revolves around football, but you never see them actually play any sports. Implied Football if you will.

An interesting follow up would be asking fan fic writers what’s the weirdest thing that they have written. Would love to hear them try and downplay it, or justify it lol

The thing about the most terrible fics being written so well is that… well, they’re posting it to the public. They have to be really confident in their work. Either that or they're just flat-out shameless. (And the weird thing is they’re always both.)

I love that most of the submissions are “I read this really really weird shit, it was written very well great read”

This fanfics seems like something out of a fever dream. Maybe that’s where the ideas are coming from, or they’re deliberately thinking of the most insane crack fanfic ideas that they can come up with

One of the craziest fanfics I read was a guy being in love with a literal pastry, it got so bad he even broke up with his boyfriend so he could date the pastry. They even got engaged, but then at the end of the book he gets hungry and he eats it. Beautiful read 10/10.

The Gordan Ramsey Harry potter fic is called Harry Potter and the Lack of Lamb Sauce. Very funny read, 10/10.

oh god not “implied tennis”

Moral of the story: dont judge a fanfic by the ship

The Gordon Ramsay in HP universe fic is actually really good. Instead of slughorn, Dumbledore recruits Gordon Ramsay to be the potions professor sixth year.

Coley sacrificed herself to read all of this- Let us bow down and praise her 🙏

Just hearing the titles/descriptions fill me with dread and disgust. Ngl, the Willy Wonka/Dracula one actually sounded clever with the inclusion of Count Chocula 😂

@thejabberwocky5884 5 years ago

The reason they’re so well written is because writers lose motivation for all of their actual ideas and the only thing that motivates them becomes shrek x donkey smut or whatever they find works.

That one fanfiction that Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden read about themselves deserves to be in this conversation.

This just proves that EVERYTHING exists on the internet

I honestly feel really bad for the people who read these fics but like- most of them were written well.. Now I'm questioning everything-

@Elliyan4 5 years ago

the one where Chef Ramsey becomes a professor at Hogwarts is probably the most normal one in here

@StillJustDreaming 3 years ago

OK, I admit it, I accidentally found a fanfic where Hogwarts (as in the actual school building) got together with the giant squid from the school lake. I then on purpose reread this horrifying and way too hot fanfic multiple times
