Vesper would 100% survive a horror movie.

"Wanna go too this creepy out house where you'll probably die?"

"Nah, I'm good."

vesper leaves

"Dammit we'll get him next time."

Ignoring the fact that Vesper met a ghost, never use a restroom in a gas station when the dude gives you weird vibes. 1000% that dude has cameras in the restroom.

The scariest part about this is the fact that Vesper's taste buds are so bad that he ate 5 year old chips and didn't realize

Dude, Vesp is such a great storyteller, he got me hooked through all his tale lol

aah you didn't include the bit where Vesper said that at the moment he was just upset the dude sold him expired candy LMAO and then realized he could have died there lol

vesper downs his own talents, but I think he could legitimately write a self help/motivational book. You cant train to become THIS kind of person
I've heard people talk about just going backpacking  but its usually some sort of thrill seeking touristy type thing.
When a man pulls a Forest Gump.... its that soul searching level of seeking purpose in your life.
this man left the rat race, expecting to come back to nothing. came back to pursue his dreams and bam holostar.
how do we make excuses when people like this exist?

Man, Vesper is truly an artifact, never seen someone use "curio" outside of Darkest Dungeon.

This legit got my heart beating first time hearing it

Man, that went from creepy, hilarious with the Altare comment read to down right “Are you afraid of the dark?” Levels of creepy zone encounters.

I love these types of stories about rural/remote areas in the US. There's this upsetting mystique about them. Like the wild west never truly stopped being wild, and people just convinced themselves they tamed it.

I love grand dad's stories.

The guy just laugh it off... damn dude that's insane experience there

As someone of Vesper's generation, we all have a "so I probably almost died that time" story or three.

I'm sure every time Vesper will talk about his bike incident it will be clipped

My man Vesper almost turned into a gas station trinkets

some weird shit bound to happen when you travel for a really really long time speaking from experience here

Having driven across the US when I first started driving there is some weird stuff that happens in the nooks and crannies of this country.  I was driving through New Mexico going west a little after midnight. I pulled off the highway to relieve myself on some random side road and was 100% certain I was alone out there. But as I zipped up and got back in the car there was a sound coming from outside my car. A dude on a horse at midnight just rode up and nodded at me so I turned on my headlights to see him better. He was just a regular looking dude with a cowboy hat on, on his horse in the middle of the road at midnight with literally nothing around us for miles. I would have had to drive past him to flip a u-turn, but as I pulled forward he got off to one side of the road and let me pass. When I flipped around I half expected to look in my rear view and see nothing, but there he was on his horse in the middle of the road, bathed in the red of my taillights as I drove away wide awake and paranoid.

I miss them...

Damn my guy survived an encounter with a homeless schizo

I feel like Vesper could probably fill a book with stories of that trip and add some life advice on it, hes so good telling stories
