Me and William head out for a full day of New Zealand rock fishing, chasing some serious winter snapper from the rocks! 🎣🐟

But before we could start fishing, we needed one important thing… fresh bait. We kicked the day off by putting the mullet net out and chasing down some fresh mullet to give ourselves the best chance at finding the big snapper.

Once we had the bait sorted, it was time to hit the rocks and put in the hours. With fresh bait in the water, we were hoping that one of those big reds would come along and make the whole mission worthwhile.

There were some tough moments, plenty of waiting, and some exciting fishing along the way — but that's all part of chasing big snapper from the rocks in winter.
