I just pinned and wrapped on this river lol.  Water was lower than desired, I stopped respecting the river and it bit me good!  All is well, Esquif got me home after some heavy lifting with my canoeing partner.  It was my 1st big F up.  Put in at the bridge, did 4km, setup camp, got ripped, then had a long day 2 where we doubled down on the getting ripped!

Def need to get at it earlier than late June if we go back.  We thought we were leaving my canoe behind as it was pretty wrapped.

What an erie landscape. I love the whitewater it looks like so much fun even with the bumps and, bangs. Nice to see the skill you've aquired with so many years experience. Title reminds me of one the scenes from a favorite movie of mine. Nice to see some decent regrowth there must be some actual soil in that area. Thanks for sharing, really like your perspective.

Killer spring trip.  NO BUGS, NO BUGS, NO BUGS!  I’ll take the cold over bugs any day.  Why no fishing?  I saw the rods!  It would kill me to go down that river, have those campfires, and not roast some fish….
