Just two days prior to this game, Dennis Rodman was at the WCW Uncensored PPV helping the nWo get a massive win in the main event.

A playoff type of game

These kinds of close losses really came back to haunt the Sonics at the end the season as they would've had game 7 in Seattle for their 2nd round series against the Rockets if they had finished with just 1 more win.

1996 NBA Finals rematch

Hell of a game, get your popcorn ready!!! Best game you’ll see this year. Real men with muscles, real coaches, real referees refing, real defenders, Jordan getting doubled, players playing with passion. Game starts out slow but you won’t believe what happens at the end, regular season game that is played on a playoff level 🍿🍿🍿

1996 NBA Finals Rematch

Vern Lundquist- his play calling on CBS and TNT was incredible

I never remembered this game as a diehard bulls fan back then.  Always thought the bulls lakers game earlier that season was the best game of the season, but damn this was just as good. Just a different type of game

Kukoc and Schrempf would be ALL NBA in today’s era..throw Sean Elliot in there too.

Great defensive game plan by Seattle Coach George Karl.  Michael was double teamed so effectively!

could you imagine todays game played with the same rules? travels actually called?

if i'm not wrong GP almost had a quadruple double in this one, i remember watching this game on italian tv when i was only 15...damn, time flies

Much thanks as always Sir.
Ps ; date of game is March 18, 1997.

I mean we're talking about a 64 win Sonics team that ain't no joke folks!!!!

The defense was unbelievably well back then , let kd or lebron play in that era , they will spend it crying .

Wow Rodman legit took over this game

Mike had 18 rebs this game
