A few weeks ago (prior to the big crash) I took my Triumph Rocket 3 to the drag strip to see what it could do. Can you guess what my biggest issue was?

Yo Chris
I did a piece for Cycle World Mag when the Rocket 3R’s first came out in 2020 and made 17 passes at a track rental, just so you know. Clutches held up fine on a bone stock one.
Went 10.56 127 or 128 I believe.
I believe it went 6.58 in the 1/8 at 109.
Bad ass bike but hard to drag race. I had the wheel up every pass😎😎

glad to see you're looking better. I've been down numerous times nothing worse than road rash I broke 11 bones and didn't really feel it because I ground my meat all the way to the bone on my hands. I'm 71 this year had to stop drag racing because of being in that position just got to be hard plus being in full leathers at 10 o'clock at night when it's still 105 is very difficult.lol even for young people. I've been over 300 mph on a motorcycle on the salt flats. After that everything else seemed kind of slow. I understand your need for speed very deeply. There's nothing else that can satisfy it. That need is something we're born with I believe. because even at 71 that sensation of acceleration acts on every nerve ending in the body at the same time. WONDERFUL!!!

TTS Performance Supercharger kit.....380 hp at the wheel. Need some seriously sticky rubber for all that though.

Crazy thing is we went back and forth like 5 times to make sure we both knew we were running pro tree and they still ran regular lol. And I can definitely say the rocket is definitely a rocket

My husband have bike. He loves the drag race. He watches you everyday on your YouTube 😊

Chris, you are the man. I’ve seen you race every type of bike and get tremendous results. I used to go to orange co in the 70s and run against pewee gleason. Like you he could get the most out of his bike. If i needed a hero, you would be it. Keep up the good work, and be careful I’ll keep watching

Chris can you do a little vid of clutch replacement on that rocket whenever you do? I’m going to have to do replacement on my 2020 rocket 3r at some point. Thanks
