I think there's a feeling of nostalgia to their music. A longing for a time you were really happy.

My fav!. Simple melodies by voice and instruments.

I discovered The Cure in 1982 during my time in undergraduate school.  They became of huge part of my life during medical school in San Francisco.  They have continued to be an important part of my life.

first song i heard with the cure on swedish television...i didnt catch the name of the band but just loved it. Then some years later i had mtv and they released disintigration and it was instant love and also discovered it was them who had done this song i loved...been a fan since then. Robert is a living genius!

One of my favorite Cure songs

Brilliant song Brilliant band 👏 👌

The Cure always makes me feel like I'm floating!  I thank you Mr. Polo for liking the Cure.

Anything from Head On the Door is a treat! We danced to this so much back in the mid 80s. The shirt from this album was everywhere, and the first singles collection was on the shelves. So many memories, all good. I adore Robert Smith.

"Where's my button ... pow pow poww SHEEESH .. " 😂 Instant subscribe lmaoo

I was obsessed with The Cure in my teenage years back in the day.  I agree total genius.  If you fancy checking out some modern day upbeat melancholy I recommend diving into some Sam Fender.  He will make you want to cry and dance at the same time.  He has that same pop sensibility  with depth and poetry in the lyrics.  He is massive in the UK winning all the awards.

"Mint Car" is one of my favorites from The Cure that most people don't know about. Just a super fun sound. Also, check out "Burn", I think you'll love that one.

God Bless The Cure - sneaking Jangly Indy Guitars into the mainstream since day one. Genius writing & always just enough Synth & just enough Guitar. National treasure status here in the UK.

This was the song that made me a Cure fan, back when I was around 14.

The Cure are TRUE pioneers of modern music. The end. Noone else comes close.

Polo. You MUST see them live. The window of opportunity is getting very small.

This is the first Cure song I ever heard when I was 14. Saw the video on Richard Blade's Video One in 1985 when it was first released. I instantly knew they were my favorite band.

I once had all the Cure albums, lost them to a fire when I lost everything.

Close to me,  another amazing song by the Cure.

They were unusual by lettinmg the backing play for a big introduction before the singing kicks in

I always ask people to react to this song.  Thanks man.  Ohh yea do you know most love songs he writes are about his wife who he met when he was 14 and is still with her today 50 years later and got married in 1988.
