Hey everyone! I just wanted to add a quick disclaimer right off the bat: I brought my phone with me to film (it's the camera I use for all videos) and for emergencies (dad has a heart condition and also life happens sometimes). My phone was on airplane mode with the wifi and bluetooth turned off the entire trip :)

I hope you all have a great day and thanks for watching!! :)

Imagine the feeling of accomplishment when your fully grown daughter asks if you wanna join her for a father-daughter road trip.

The last video your dad took and said this is the coolest thing I've ever gotten to do with my kid, made me tear up instantly

I have never seen such a beautiful example of a wholesome relationship between daughter and father this is awesome

This video is so human, the laughs, the photos, the conversations. I love it!

Being able to make mistakes in front of your dad and not being yelled at, scolded or looked at with intensely harsh/ hateful eyes… was very refreshing and healing to witness. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful video. May the Creator reward your father for being so patient and kind Ameen. Peace <3 (:

Cannot even fathom this kind of healthy relationship with a parent. This is so cool!!!! I didn’t know these relationships existed honestly.

i asked my dad to go on a walk with me yesterday (i’m 22 and moved out and he’s 51) and he agreed. we met at a spot our family used to go and we walked for hours and talked about our lives. we got into philosophical discussions and existential topics, and i got to talk to him like a friend rather than just my father. it healed me and he told me he’s really happy we went on a walk together❤️

I don’t usually leave comments but I just need to say that that was the warmest 13 minutes I’ve had in a while. Going on adventures is so so cool and doing it with people you care and love is just whatever the best word you can find. Amazing. Thank you for sharing this.

In a world of fast cuts and Mr beast edits, this feels like a breath of fresh air. ❤

Just finished this video and I'm ugly crying about how warm your relationship is with your dad. It's just so pure and beautiful. I know I'd never be able to do this with my dad but I wish to be a parent like your dad to my future children.

Your dad as an alarm clock was my favorite recurring bit. ❤

Makari's dad is out here healing all our father wounds ❤

Here I was just vibing and bopping along and your dad has me burst into tears in the last 30 seconds. So sweet.

I'm 29. My wife and I are planning to have a kid 4 or 5 years down the line, and we both want a daughter. We often talk about what kind of parents we hope we would be, and from now onwards, this video is going to be my answer to that question. This is the relationship that I want. Thank you so much for this. I will definitely come back to this from time to time.

A few years ago my dad passed. It was my senior year of university and I had planned a long road trip with him in secret. I never got to tell him what I had planned, and sadly had to cancel the whole thing because of his passing. This video really touched me. Thank you for allowing us to live through you and your dad in these lovely moments.

I dont u think realize how much this helps people. Seeing a great relationship and fun ideas. This made me want to do the same and also cherish my parents more. You literally just made a difference in someones life. Thank you! Keep being you! And popz and momz keep being u as well!

The cutest and loveliest video I have ever watched on YouTube. I enjoyed every second of the 13:38 minutes. Your dad is such a cool and kind-hearted person! ❤

Makari, it's borderline criminal to make a video with scenery that beautiful, and the hilarious banter with your dad but only 13 minutes. Need an hour long special 😂

This was soo refreshing and healing to watch
