Hey. I'm still learning Logic. My biggest helper is actually having Gemini watch me and tell me how to fix it. Most of the time I work faster that way. It definitely gave me the right prompts on getting Suno to cut out the bloat production.
I cut the audio track into pieces and then uploaded it; after that, you can put them back together. That way, it doesn't see it as a whole song. But I think they are recognizable instruments that it recognizes. And a drum kit (sounds very familiar quickly).
I have found that some loops and virtual instruments trigger this. But if you put a delay or reverb on the triggering instrument, it’s different enough to pass
6 is great for songwriter pitching. I can now have it get rid of long intros, guitar solos, massive production and have it just do voice and guitar. I just this week had plugger notify me that my song was in his re-listen pile for an artist. It may not get picked but it got his attention. Just my lyrics my melodies and a stripped down guitar and singer demo. Loving V6
I’ve been trying to get new tracks for use in logic and wasted a lot of time trying to get version 2 of the studio to work, even in 5.5. The timing is all over the place, the commands ignore half the stuff they say they’ve done, and it tries to stuff as many notes as it can on the track as it can. So back to studio 1 and its limitations. Oh well.
This is long but Gemini says: Suno’s copyright and fingerprint detection flags stock Apple Loops, Drummer tracks, and Session Players because millions of published songs share those exact identical waveforms and acoustic signatures.
To strip out Apple’s digital fingerprints without re-recording everything from scratch, the cleanest and most reliable route in Logic Pro is to convert everything to custom acoustic MIDI or re-sample with processing:
---
### 1. Convert Logic Drummer / Session Players to MIDI
Logic Drummer and AI Session Players (Bass, Keyboard) output proprietary performance scripts and stock multi-sampled instrument profiles that trigger Suno's detection algorithms immediately.
1. *Convert to Standard MIDI:* Right-click the Drummer/Session Player region in the Tracks area and select *Convert* > **Convert to MIDI Region**. 2. *Swap the Software Instrument:* Change the channel strip instrument from the stock Drum Kit Designer / Studio Instrument to a third-party sampler, an acoustic kit plugin, or tap in a simple custom beat. 3. *Randomize / Humanize Velocity:* Open the Piano Roll (`P`), select all notes, go to *Functions* > *MIDI Transform* > **Humanize**, and apply slight variations to position and velocity so it no longer resembles Apple’s factory grooves.
---
### 2. Disguise or Replace Apple Loops
Pre-rendered audio loops from Logic's Sound Library are cataloged heavily in content-ID databases.
* *Re-Pitch & Retune:* Change the pitch by $\pm 1$ or $\pm 2$ semitones in the Region Inspector rather than using standard concert pitch. * *Insert Time-Domain Processing:* Run loops through light modulation (chorus, flanger, phaser), tape saturation, or an amp simulator. A small amount of non-linear distortion breaks the spectral match. * *Add Modulation / Reverb:* Putting subtle delay, reverb, or filtering on the triggering track alters the harmonic profile enough to bypass algorithmic matching.
---
### 3. Bounce Dry, Raw Stems
When uploading reference tracks or guide tracks to Suno:
* *Mute All Stock Loops/Drummers Completely:* If the goal is just getting Suno to generate a song based on chord progressions and vocals, leave the drums and loops out of the upload entirely. A simple acoustic guitar/piano guide track and vocal scratch track are all Suno needs to follow tempo and chord structure. * *Export Clean 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV:* Export uncompressed audio (`Command + B`) without mastering limiters or stock Logic bus presets applied.
You're still trying to upload signature Logic tracks, drummers, bass players etc. It's not your chords or your lyrics. It's not your original midi keyboard part. Your'e doing right by uploading as non compressed wav. That sometimes fixed my problems. Sometimes it works to drop my Suno mp3 into audacity and have it create a WAV version. I try several things, get it figured out, then forget my steps. I'm not going to break the song into small sections then restitch. I don't need more work.I'll go back and take good notes next time. It will work. My posted song proves it. My original started out in my Logic DAW.
