Part 1 of 2 of the March 3, 2026 video deposition of Trevor Johnson, son of former Port Clinton, Ohio Fire Chief Kent Johnson, in the federal civil-rights lawsuit against Kent Johnson brought by Rebekah Huskey-Archacki: Huskey v. City of Port Clinton and Kent Johnson, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio Case No.3:23-cv-01910.
Trevor Johnson was a Port Clinton firefighter and is an investigator for the Ottawa County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Ms. Huskey-Archacki was a Port Clinton firefighter/EMT.
The deposition was filed in the court in September 2026.
The suit against Kent Johnson and the City of Port Clinton alleged claims for:
• a civil action relating to disclosure of intimate images under 15 U.S.C. § 6851;
• sexual harassment under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964;
• sex discrimination equal-protection violation under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution and 42 U.S.C. § 1983;
• search-and-seizure privacy violations under the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and 42 U.S.C. § 1983;
• Ohio civil liability for criminal acts of assault, battery, gross sexual imposition, interference with civil rights; hacking; and more;
• civil assault, battery, and false imprisonment;
• retaliation; and
• other causes of action.
Following an independent outside investigation, Port Clinton fired Kent Johnson.
And Kent Johnson was convicted of assault and multiple other crimes against Ms. Huskey-Archacki and sentenced to 180 days in jail.
Beginning at about 43:00, Trevor Johnson was asked about his knowledge of intimate images found on his father's Google Drive.
Among other things, when confronted with text messages showing him plotting "revenge" and retaliation with a fellow firefighter against Ms. Huskey-Archacki over her allegations against Kent Johnson, and being asked questions about falsifying public records, Trevor Johnson invoked Fifth Amendment privilege over 20 times.
Chandra Law Firm managing partner Subodh Chandra asked the deposition questions.
The civil suit settled for $1.7 million. Trevor Johnson benefited from a release of potential civil claims against him. A criminal charge and special prosecutor's investigation into his conduct remain pending.
