But, Black Magic camera app also does baked in LUTs?

you can bake luts on the blackmagic app too. what the diff?

this would be KILLER if you could add halation and grain right in the app. Do you know if they talked about doing that in the future? Seems counter intuitive to do all this JUST to put it into Davinci when i was trying to avoid that already.

Great video thanks. I used Mobile many years back mainly for iPhone photography and not video. When I take video these days it’s on an Ace Pro 2 and I edit in Luma Fusion - sometimes hard work as I don’t take videos often and have to somewhat relearn it. For photos I use Lightroom, Photoshop, and NIK. Maybe I’ll try this app. BTW still staying with my beloved iPhone 13 mini.

Very cool - was looking for something "in between"... I can record my log on my camera at the moment.... but I may want a quick clip to post ASAP, so pulling the phone and have it done at location - and I get a sense that my log version may be "ball park" where my post is, great... thank you for bringing this up... :)

You can bake luts into the recording with Blackmagic as well. What am I missing here?

If your going to bake the lut into the footage is there any advantage to having it capture in Log since your hopefully not doing any post adjustments?

Why would you want to bake it in though? I love being able to see/preview it while shooting, but why would I bake it in? I mean I guess is rare super rushed scenarios where you essentially have zero ability/time to edit......but ya.....

The intensity slider is cool though.
