i finally mustered some courage and started an ironman winter only mode...aaaand i can say that the game is even EASIER this way. You depend a lot on RNG early because you spawn nude and need to find winter clothes fast to be able to walk around. You need matches so you dont need to go to shelter all the time and heat yourself on the go. But at night you can see perfectly because of the snow lighting and mines are sooooo easy to see in minefield it doesnt even pose a challenge. So yeah, as long as you rush some early clothes and survive this bit all the rest is a walk in the park. Also hoarding juice from village and just sleeping repeatedly until gunsmith arrives is a good idea so you can quickly purchase some kevlar and helmet to risk going to Vostok

Man!! I found the Harmonica yesterday, I went to take it to the dr, before I was able to deliver it, on the first floor of the school I let my guard down looting a trash bag, got killed from the doorway behind me… 😫😫

to answer your question about starting near an AI, there is no cap as to how close they can spawn.... ive done hundreds of spawn tests and can say with confidence that they could even spawn on the porch of the cabin when you first spawn lol. keyword CAN, not likely.

you can also go back and forth from the bunker to the trader until the mp7 ammo spwns

Nice

I thought about the cleaning kit mod but decided against it. I'm at end game day 200+, and hoarding repair kits gives me a reason to find guns to trade.

ngl, the transmission is a bit...underwhelming. I look forward to seeing your ironman mode run!

Also there are no dynamic seasons yet, you have to pick one or the other by default. However, there is a mod that adds dynamic seasons.

I also highly recommend the AI mod "Armed Enhancement-AI System Overhaul." It also has an ammunition expansion (that I believe is compatible with the ballistics mod if I'm not mistaken). Very customizable, makes the AI smarter, they can fight eachother too (all configurable via MCM), among other things.

So yeah, for your dynamic seasons, pick up that mod and there's a few AI mods but the one I mentioned has a LOT of customization options! Can't wait to see your iron man mode, I am too chicken to try that x_x

let's go 😁

Antii joined a podcast recently and talked in depth about a lot of stuff I’m pretty sure he talked about the soundtrack .. can’t remember the name of the channel but if you just search for road to Vostok developer interview you should find it

i use the Nvidea filter easier to see at night in your bunker you have PC and desk light how do you get those?

how i can get the skills? On my game i dont have skills to upgrade :(

what cal is the MP7 ammo?

Where'd you find the mp7??

if i do not like what the cellar has i use alt F4 to exit the game and re use the key but make sure you have unloaded your loot before doing thos

i´m on Day 75 and still see Punisher 2 Times and he never in aggro mode. its so frustrating, i want the Bunker so badly but i also don´t want to mod it

do you know of any npc animation mods? it's not too bad for the time being but watching the co-op mod really showed how janky the character models are

i think it should be add multiplayer and more boss or upgrade vostok army like commando so it getting defficult when enter vostok
